found an issue
I remembered that when NPC was spotting 47 there was a sound becoming louder and sharper as you getting closer to the edge of being compromised. But after the 3.70 patch it just go quiet…
Is it a common issue, or it only occurs to me?
PC bug hopefully it gets hotfixed
Regarding the missing shoulder swap option playing with mouse and keyboard:
"We’ve made a server-side fix to let you enable shoulder swap without the use of a controller. And it’s live now!
Find the Shoulder Swap toggle under:
Main Menu > Options > Gameplay > Camera Shoulder Swap.
cancels Amazon order
Based clemens. Btw will there also be a hotpatch for restoring sounds on PC?
Thanks for the shoulder swap fix!
It would be much appreciated if you could also release a hotfix for PC players for the broken sound on the rising alert/suspicion meter. I seriously can’t play like this for one whole month until the next major update. Below is a video of the issue. Thanks in advance
Yes only on playstation, like the sound cutting issue on PS5 or the water physics on Sgail here :
Playstation has a different pipeline, Stadia too. Xbox/PC are almost in the same boat. That’s why the rendering bugs are not necessarily found in all versions. And having 3 games in 1 does not make things easier to handle.
Get your tickets written id advise. I know ill be putting this stuff on my next one
Has anyone figured out what the “face time” patch in Chonqing actually means, that one has puzzled me since I first read it. I wonder why they even write in those criptic patch notes that no one knows what they mean.
That’s not a bug. I asked the team specifically about it when I saw it recently. The answer was that when a challenge can be completed in either the main mission or on live content, the game will show one of the names. The content name (i.e main mission or escalation name, etc) that is displayed doesn’t mean that the challenge can ONLY be unlocked on that piece of content. Hope that’s clear.
I made it clear that it’s not particularly obvious, as I also understood it as you described, but it’s also not a bug.
Did the duck explosives always make a squeek sound when detonated? Or is that new to this patch, i’ve never noticed it before
Oh. Interesting. I wonder if it wouldn’t be simpler to just display “[Location Name]” for any challenge that has multiple areas where it can be achieved.
There are also challenges that are specific to some content (like Sins challenges) that also only display one name of where they can be completed.
Granted, it’s fairly easy to determine what content relates specifically to certain missions and what’s for more open-ended play, so it’s doesn’t really need a change.
W-why…
Seriously though, it´s not that it looks completely bad - would work well if we had a mode where 47 could drive a convertible on the Amalfi coastline or something - but I really like/prefer the gloveless version and don´t want to be limited to it in the DGS. Why this change, especially without warning?
All gloves, all the time! Every outfit should have gloves!
Wrong Location
We’ve resolved an issue where the descriptions for two Agency pickups were misleading and did not describe where the actual pickup was located.
Really happy this made their list and got fixed. Almost didn´t expect it. Wish the appropriate descriptions would also get updated to “Olivia has bribed and ICA employee to stash…”. It feels weird when the desc says she placed it there herself.
Wall Hack
We’ve resolved an issue where Agent 47 could be spotted through walls, notably when hanging on roof ledges.
Didn´t even know this was an issue in Chongqing. Good that it got fixed, but I feel like the wall hacks in Haven are a much more pressing concern
I´d say a lot of people would argue about that as far as driving gloves are concerned…
How about… Make both the versions without and with gloves available?
I prefer driving gloves to no gloves.
Anyone that would design a game based on my preferences should probably have their head examined though, to be fair. I also have no real concerns or use for shoulder swaps, ray tracing, sounds, offline modes, or a lot of the other things that crop up. I’m the last player that IOI (or anyone) should be accommodating, design-wise.
What’s next IO?
You’re gonna do this?
