Hitman 3 downgraded to WOA Part One?

I was watching this streamer I like called the Lorerunner and he’s going to review the Hitman trilogy soon, but he was mentioning that he bought the Hitman 3 game on January 2022 and then booted it up on September 2024 for the first time and he didnt own H2 or H3’s levels, only “Part One”. Is there a mechanic for why this happened? A glitch? Or a faulty install?

I was wondering because it’s the first time i’ve seen this glitch and usually he uses community resources like his fans to suggest positives and negatives for his reviews. I wanted to know if this has happened before, if it’ll happen with others or if something could have been done on his part to get his money back (he ended up buying the upgrade pack and all the DLCs i think)

If he did buy it, he could’ve just contacted IO support to get it unlocked/licensed/whatever. I and many others had this problem recently with the disruptor pack when it released and it was quickly resolved. However in this particular case I suspect it’s possibly more likely he only ever bought Hitman WOA Part One (which came out at that time I believe) thinking it was part one of Hitman 3. Especially as he waited 2 years to play it, probably forgot which exact thing he bought. He wouldn’t be the first to fall victim to their confusing and ridiculous storefront model…
