Hitman 3
PC, Steam, Maldives map, Freelancer Mode
Only happened once so far but surely I’m not only one who’s experienced this issue.
Target immune to all, but explosives.
One silly bug that just cost me the campaign b/c I could not escape once I used the explosive.
Exactly why there should be some sort of out mechanism when bugs happen vs losing all of one’s items. I could neither escape nor alt-f4 before every single guard was on me.
Cost me 150k Mercers
Won’t be a next time. I’ve had it up to here with bugs. I have uninstalled due to the latest “bug”
I just got hit with that cost me all my money and a failed campaign. The controls stopped working.
Could not enter H2H combat or draw a weapon while I was shot to hamburger. And it happened to
fast to use alt-f4. I did alt-f4 and I promptly uninstalled. BYE POS Hitman.
If you get the safe spawn in the basement of the house labeled “Griswold Property”, there is a guard in a Garbage Man disguise guarding the safe. If you KO this guard and take his disguise, then KO another garbage man - the game will let you “switch” to that disguise even though it should be considered the same.
Completing the Featured Contracts on Holiday Hoarders and Hokkaido Snow Festival doesn’t count them toward the Featured Contracts - Track 1 challenges. Though there’s only one on each mission now, this will presumably also apply to all future FCs on these missions.
Any NPC using this eating act Act_MR_Sit_Chair_Table_EatMeal_Enter_S_L, allows you to poison their food while they’re eating it. Until you bump them and they reset, then you can’t poison the food while they’re eating it.
As metal worker, in Ambrose Island, left area and wherever I go I had a long brown rope tied to my hand carrying whatever I had in my hand (crowbar?), connecting Agent47 to the starting point. Happened once. I remember this happening once in a mission in Hitman2016 (PS5)
Isn’t it normal behaviour due to undercover agents (or guards or whatever) wearing garbage man and gardener disguises?
“Normal” disguise and “undercover agent” dusguise always counted as two different outfits
This is correct. You’ll also notice that wearing the “normal” garbage man disguise you’re trespassing in that basement, but not if you wear the undercover guard garbage man disguise. (It’s a bit disappointing, even if it makes sense, that you’re not allowed to carry weapons in the undercover version.)
Platform: PS4 Location: Ambrose Description: The “Another for Good Measure” kill (Akka blowing herself up after kicking Crest off the tower) can no longer be done without a non-target kill.
Steps to reproduce:
Sabotage the propane tank on the tower
Give the picture of Lance Hsu to Farah
Wait a while for the meeting to play out, preferably where you can see the top of the tower
When Akka kicks Crest off the tower, he drops his gun on the ledge.
Either one of the nearby guards will see it and move to collect it, or Akka will see it herself and tell one of the guards to do so.
Either way, she then smokes and the guard still picking up the gun is killed as well.
This didn’t used to happen, although I don’t know if the dropped gun was ignored or if it fell out of bounds so the NPCs didn’t try to collect it or what. It used to be part of one of my favorite SASO no-KO runs.
Frequency:Always EDIT 2024-02-29: Only sometimes, it seems. I had it work twice recently, the gun still dropped but everyone didn’t see it. In between those two runs I had a run where Akka saw it and got a guard killed.
Platform: PS4 Location: Berlin Description: 11th agent is a non-target kill
Steps to reproduce:
Use the Bus Stop start so Price shows up.
KO at least two agents, and kill the rest (possibly KOing more so you don’t have to deal with catching them escaping).
Kill the KOed agents individually. The last will be counted as a non-target kill.
If you instead kill the 10th and 11th at the same time, e.g. with a propane explosion, it does count both as target kills.
I’ve tried this with Thames, Davenport, and either Rhodes or Tremaine (I forget which) as the final kill, so it doesn’t seem specific to one particular agent.
Description:
The “Capital Punishment” trophy for completing all Siberia challenges was glitched when I transfered progress from Hitman 2.
I completed all of the Siberia challenges and but not all of the Hantu Port challenges in Hitman 2. After transfering my progress from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3, the correct trophies did not unlock.
I did not receive the “Capital Punishment” trophy even though I had completed all of the Siberia challenges, and instead I incorrectly received the “Pure Poetry” trophy even though I still had many remaining Hantu Port challenges to complete.
I’ve since completed the all remaining Hantu Port challenges in Hitman 3, and there is no way for me to earn the “Capital Punishment” trophy since all of the Siberia challenges have already been completed.
“Capital Punishment” is the last trophy I need to complete to get all the trophies.
Steps to reproduce:
Complete all challenges for Siberia in Hitman 2.
Complete allmost but not all challenges for Hantu Port in Hitman 2.
Import progress from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3.
Launch Hitman 3.
Note that the “Capital Punishment” achievement was NOT unlocked even though all challenges in Siberia have been completed.
Note that the “Pure Poetry” achievement was unlocked even though all challenges in Hantu Port have NOT been completed.
Frequency:
Happened after transfering Hitman 2 progress into Hitman 3.
