Issue: Landslide mission still crashes randomly. Tried today for first time in months and crashed after approx 10 minutes. The issue has been reported previously also by other users in the past.
In H2 the map is ok. I wonder if the issue is happening on PS5 also.
EDIT: The crashes do not happen on my XBOX Series S so maybe it’s only an issue for playstation consoles.

DESCRIPTION/STEPS TO REPRODUCE/FREQUENCY:
I played the Hitman 3 demo with no problems, then upon buying the game and attempting the prologue chapter, things started acting up. I began the first mission and during the cut scene where they introduce the party boat, the “black fade transition”–which I’d assume is used to bridge some of the shots together–started being used once every 1 to 8 seconds (sometimes rapid back to back, sometimes not: very inconsistent). This gave it this pulsing effect where everything would go very dark, slowly fade out to reveal things at normal brightness, then cut back to being dark, fade out to brightness, and repeat.
The cut scene ended and it was time to move the hitman around. This pulsing continued, making it like I was doing the mission blind half of the time. I tried messing around with the options for a while, rebooting my computer, researching similar problems (but found none), trying out different missions in the chapter, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game (which took 3 hours to do both times I installed the game). In the demo, the outer rim of the screen would occasionally darken during the gameplay as if to simulate the hitman blinking, so I thought that maybe that’s what was happening, but somehow the effect was glitching and making the whole screen almost totally dark. I’m not sure if this is it, but I tried looking up ways to disable this effect but to no avail.
The issue has persisted still and honestly the game is unplayable. Even when I pause the game during a mission, in the background, the pulsing still continues. It’s driving me insane and as a someone who almost never buys or plays games and is brand new to Hitman, this is definitely putting a bad taste in my mouth.
Anyone feel they can assist with this situation? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you all:)

How to reproduce: put the phone in a position where no one can hear it and make the call. Enjoy the Ave Maria song for approx. 1:45 minutes, after which it will stop playing. Lure an NPC in the phone range and watch him still get distracted by the phone.

Description : broken NPC loop (Hanna Olsen, surgeon supervising the Stem Cell Pump in Hokkaido)
In Hokkaido, the surgeon in charge of the Stem Cell Pump, if the player drains it, is supposed to go to the Stem Cells Supply room, take a canister from the storage, bring it back to the device near the Operation Room, and replenish the device. This allows the player, if they previously poisoned the stored Stem Cells, to do a partial proxy elimination. In Hitman 3 the surgeon goes to the Stem Cell Supply room, does her bark, but then does not engage in the rest of her scripted route. She will stay there for the rest of the run. She will also adopt an idle stance, canister in hand.
This happens irregardless if the player interacted with the Stem Cells Storage beforehand. Coins throw, audio distraction, or even panic do not solve the issue.
To note : if the NPC is distracted she will drop the Stem Cell Container. Once the distraction is resolved, she will return to her normal route, go back to the storage, make a new dialogue, take a new canister, and then stay stuck.
The dropped container are also all Lethal Stem Cell Container, that can be used to eliminate Soders if brought to the Stem Cell Pump, even if the player did not poisoned the stored container beforehand.
How to reproduce :
- 1 : start the Situs Inversus mission (all entry point possible)
- 2 : use the prompt to “drain the stem cell” in the room east of the Operating Theater (level 2)
- 3 : after the defibrillation, Hanna Olsen will go back in the room, announce that she need to resupply, direct herself to the Stem Cell Supply room (level 1), there she will have a line of dialogue, and take a canister of Stem Cell
- 4 - Hanna Olsen stays in place, in a idle stance

Mills Reverie
If you KO enough guards that the minimap markers for the remaining guards appear, the marker for the guard that stands to the door just outside the pool doesn’t appear and he continues to appear as normal as a white dot to indicate he can spot the player.

Himmelstein, Hantu Port and Siberia (aka the sniper maps)
When you complete a run, on the scoring screen your mission time will consistently display as 00:00:00 - regardless of Silent Assassin or not. If the run was a new best score and increases your leaderboard position, when you look at the leaderboard it will display the actual mission time so its still getting captured correctly. Its just a display issue.
I’m having the same issue which has been brought up before, sad to see it hasn’t been fixed on the latest patch. Have to choose between a stuttering game or smooth frames with no working mirrors.

Description: Micro-stutters are present when Mirror Reflection quality is set to anything but off. Other settings don’t seem to have an impact on eliminating the issue.
This is a very minor thing and not really a bug I guess, but ever since Hitman 1, having a steering wheel causes the game to use it’s inputs. Now, this is indended behaviour for a controller, but I bet nobody wants to play with a steering wheel. So I don’t know if technically possible, but it would be great if the detection would exclude things such as steering wheels. This way I wouldn’t have to unplug or disable it each time I play. So maybe this deserves a ticket in the backlog, dunno.
