Help with Hitman 2 Sniper Assassin maps issue (PS4)

Hey everyone,
I’m a frequent visitor here and enjoy reading the passionate discussions by community members. Anyway, I decided it was worth creating an account to post this and see if anyone here could help me with my issue.
For context, I reported this problem to IOI support back in December 2024. I received the usual list of troubleshooting recommendations, but none resolved the issue. I then sent off videos (as requested) where I talked through the issue on my PS4. I have heard nothing since, including after I sent a message asking for an update in March.
In other words, IOI hasn’t been particularly helpful thus far. So I figured I might as well ask the community here. Maybe someone can help out a fellow Hitman player.
The Problem I purchased each of the Hitman WoA trilogy games separately over the years, this included the Hitman 2 DLC pack (the version sold solely for Hitman 2). After I bought Hitman 3 last year, I deleted the Hitman 1 & 2 apps from my PS4 to make space. Later, I wanted to finish collecting a few trophies in Hitman 2. I redownloaded the app, but the files for Hantu Port and Siberia didn’t appear. All of the other levels in Hitman 2, including Himmelstein, New York, Haven Island, etc, were available to install. When I try to open Hantu Port or Siberia in Hitman 2, I’m told I don’t have access to that content. I know these maps (in their Hitman 2 versions) no longer exist in the PS store, but I don’t understand why they, and only they, have vanished from my console.
I don’t want this post getting any longer than it already is, so I’ll end it here. Hopefully the above explanation is coherent. If anyone has any thoughts, please share them.
Thanks!

Huh that’s strange. I recently redownloaded the game with all its add-ons, and it’s fine. Are you sure you have downloaded all of them via the PS4 menu? To access the add-on menu, when selecting the game, press down :down_arrow: button on d-pad, all the way to the bottom. On the right there should be a function to manage your add-ons. Then press download buttons to the add-ons you haven’t downloaded yet.

Thanks for responding!
You’re talking about getting to the “Your Add-Ons” list, right? Every level, file, whatever you want to call it, is there and installed except Hantu Port and Siberia. They don’t appear anywhere on the list.
If you or anyone else who reads this is interested, below are the links for the two short videos I sent off to IOI explaining/showing the problem.

Okay, thanks for providing the videos. Unfortunately I don’t have the knowledge to help dealing such issue. Because in my case, everything is there, including the sniper maps.

I want to know though that you used to install both Hantu Port and Siberia maps before the deletion, right? That way it seems like it’s PlayStation who somewhat lost your ownership of the add-ons. I knew this can be frustrating that needing to contact another support, but maybe they are the one that are responsible and able to solve your problem.

I just checked on PS4 and I still have Hantu Port and Siberia listed as owned Add Ons, so likely a PSN account-specific issue rather than a broader problem IO has created.

Well, shit. Now that you mention it, I’m not sure I did download Hantu Port and Siberia after purchasing the DLC. Does that mean they were lost forever when I deleted the Hitman 2 app? Since they no longer exist in the PS store, I would think there’s no “source” to redeem my purchase.
I’ll take a look at that link. Thanks again for the suggestion!

Seems like I’m out of luck. Talked with a PS agent (or bot) and they couldn’t recommend anything except the usual Restore Licenses option, which doesn’t work. Assuming I never downloaded the sniper add-ons, then deleted the app and those add-ons, there’s no way for me to get them back because they don’t “exist” anymore (being delisted on the PS store).
Suppose that’s on me. I just wish IOI hadn’t packaged the Hitman trilogy as games with separate levels that needed to be individually downloaded, to prevent stuff like this happening. Oh well, it’s what I get for obsessing over some stupid trophies.

Well that’s unfortunate. I am sorry to hear there’s no solution.
