What’s the story of Hailey Brennan and Jared Dorst? Does the guard genuinely care for her due to their history and is really helping her to escape OR is he running a sting operation and Dalia Margolis is supposed to eventually show up once he gets her to unwittingly confess?

(My opinion) They are sleeping together and he is trying to actually help her, or maybe not and he just likes her and wants to sleep with her.

I’d say it’s more likely that Jared has feelings for her and/or is acting in a chivalrous manner in helping her get away.
The 2 ladies on the ground floor are associates of Hailey.
There’s a bigger picture here…
