Well, after the H2 carry-over guarantees were announced, Hitman 3 will become the first game I’ve bought 3 times in one week! That, sadly, includes 2 refunds, but we are still getting to the party
Last few days in the nutshell @Lasse_ioi
When you didn´t preorder until 2 days before release cause you were waiting for details about progress transfer:
When you never actually preordered because you were in the finals of some tournament that got you a copy of H3:
I could totally take you at Ghost Mode, Cam, just sheer luck on your part that it’s no longer active for me to have to back up my trash talk with actual action…
Bruh you wouldn’t believe the amount of times I’d match a skilled player in quick match. Which is surprisingly large considering everyone was grinding for the suit close to the shut down.
Bah, you’d stand no chance against my ultra cautious roleplayer skillz, just a shame I’ll never get to prove it!
HITMAN 3 can include previous games, but if you don’t own any of them, you have to buy either them or corresponding Access Pass. Until you do that, you can’t gain access to old games within HITMAN 3.
If you own one of the previous games, you will be able to get corresponding Access Pass for free.
If you own both games, you still can get H1 Access Pass for free, but it’s a problem with H2 on Epic, consoles are not involved, on console you’re eligible to redeem both Access Passes for free.
Epic issue is promised to be resolved “in the coming weeks”. Until then Epic gamers can’t get access to H2 game within HITMAN 3
This is my situation.
So I can have both of them without added cost and download?
What platform are you racing on?
PS4 though.
…
Then you’re completely okay. And more of that, by now you should be able to get a preload of H3
I didn’t pre order it and I’m gonna buy it physically. But what is that exactly?
What is preload? It’s a downloading of a game beforehand. And when it’s released, you don’t have to waste time waiting, you can dive in straight away.
If you’re planning to buy it on the disc, you still should have to download “a first day patch”
Yay! Download or installation or whatever finished! Confusingly, it consists of a whole collection of add-ons, one for each H3 mission, plus one for the Trinity Pack, with nothing about H1 or H2 content whatsoever.
Ah well. Presumably IOI know what they’re doing.
Access Passes for the previous levels aren’t available yet. They should be granted from the in-game store when H3 releases. (Or through the H2 store if you have a physical copy of that game.)
You digitals… congrats.
Ah! Thanks.
Shouldn’t I add my email in the game before going to the store?
Have it digitally so no problem.
Where’s the progression transfer website?
