Yeah, Japanese people seem to be different when it comes to their history. It is up to them if they don’t want to buy it. In the end that is what matters, not what the publicity is before that.
Still, this “apology” is lots of words for saying “Sorry but we still do what we want”.
There are a lot of historical Figures in the Series, but they’re always side characters, not the playable character, maybe thats what rubs people the wrong way. But then again, people love to complain about shit.
That’s really sad, and really suspicious from the higher-ups. Humble Games (at least I thought) were pretty darn successful with releasing high-quality, popular Indie games!
Also I looked up the owners of Humble, and they’re owned by Ziff Davis, a company that also owns things like IGN, Digital Foundry, Eurogamer, and a few other gaming media companies (among many other non-gaming companies)
SAG-AFTRA voice actors are going on strike at midnight tonight. AI, naturally, has been a sticking point in negotiations since the last agreement was extended two years ago.
A limited collector edition of TDUSC with a bunch of physical goodies! Now this is something quite rare these days in the gaming market. I still plan to buy the digital copy of the base game on launch, I think.
