In case it’s not already obvious since October’s over, Phasmophobia has been delayed from consoles again. Potentially still coming later this year. 
The dev team cites troubles with shifting to remote-work following their office fire, which I still feel really sad for them…

On the game’s official Steam page, Kinetic Games detailed the latest delay for Phasmophobia’s console release. It explained that its staff was having trouble adjusting to the new remote working environment following the studio fire.

Just found out (thanks YT feed) that Boiling Point: Road to Hell has been released on GOG and Steam. It´s a somewhat janky (from what I read over the years), but utterly enjoyably looking and rather ambitious oldie that I´ve always wanted to try, so I´m actually super excited by this news.

am I reading the article on steam about it correctly it says there is a thing where if you claim the game before November 20th you get to keep it for free i don’t use steam because I don’t have a computer but if that is the case guess I am making a steam account

Every now and then games are offered to keep for free on Steam, same with other game launchers such as Epic and GoG

Well guess I’m making a steam account reminds me of in 2020 when Sony had a play at home thing where 7 games and one dlc were given away for free personally have only played the Lego game out of those but might give the others a try sometime

Might be an unpopular opinon but to me, it seems too early for this remaster. Makes it look like Naughty Dog is running short of ideas but I wish it luck.

This is honestly really solid, and a lot more than I expected from it when it was rumored a few months back. I think the remastered box art is a lot better than the original angry Ellie cover. Kinda weird they’re releasing it now and not closer to Season 2 of the show but I guess they thought there’s still enough hype from Season 1
By the way, I find it hilarious that this “simple” remaster offers so many more new additions compared to the Part 1 remake, yet they made owners of the PS4 version still pay $70 for that but for Part 2 they’re letting you only pay $10 to upgrade. I’ll take it!

Mechanically, and content wise, there’s a lot more here than was in its original version, all for just a 10$ price because I already own it? Hell yeah!
But Part 1, that clearly has had a whole visual and environment remake, but is virtually the same game as the original, minus the multiplayer content?
Nah, no upgrade at all for you! Only a 70$ next-gen price awaits!
I’m very glad they’re revealing/releasing this now and not closer to when HBO Season 2 might release… that’ll be a really long time for a game that arguably still doesn’t have all that much to offer that’s different from its original 2020 release.
Now, Factions 2 or whatever it is, that remains to be seen. I hope sooner than later, if they can work out whatever the issue is that they keep going back to the drawing board for…

You can tell Sony doesn’t care about sackboy or ratchet and clank as much as god of war the last of us and Spider-Man because they haven’t made remasters of each of their games 2-4 years later
