Related to that, an interview I shared in the designated thread:
Have any of these games have ever been announced without a leak?? I feel like this is the 4th time in a row Iâm hearing of a ânew Assassinâs Creed: Subtitle leaked, to be revealed later!â
No they never have and even they are aware of it (Aware in so much as you might not believe the leaks are engineered) and there is a mission in Watch_Dogs 2 mocking the âtraditionâ. You even get to leak the trailer for a game Ubisoft was actually working on but seemingly doesnât appear to be worked on anymore.
Sad. I wish the forum had a thumbs down icon.
There was a discussion a while back about this, most were against the idea
Correction: all were against the idea.
world loved series
I hope itâs a new mobile game I can spend my money on
I hope one of the higher-ups had a stroke and gave green light for a new, worthy Castlevania Game.
They realized that they mucked up things really bad
Iâm pretty sure most knew about this by now
Crime doesnât pay on Steam
Well I´m obviously very happy about this (also considering that Ubi Support actually fixed my AC3 server-connection issue - or is it because of this decision? - and I can thus finish the whole thing this month), but it baffles me why on Earth did they wait with that announcement literally until the last day? I mean you´d expect them to try to contain the blowback asap. And while my DLC access is secured, I hope they will eventually patch those games to make that content available for future players. This solution is rather temporaryâŚ
Anyways, guess I can edit those condemning reviews on Steam now, lol.
I have mixed feelings here. If the rumours are accurate, then I´m happy to see an AC game that drops the bloated open world and RPG mechanics in favour of a more âscriptedâ story-focused experience, hopefully centred more around the stealthy aspects of the gameplay, and set in the Middle East no less. Makes me almost feel excited for an Ubi game for the first time in god knows how many years.
On the other hand, it probably won´t be on Steam (not in the near future anyway), my laptop won´t be able to run it with a sufficient framerate and visual quality regardless, and it will still likely come with a bunch of DRM-protected DLCs which I´d lose access to in less than a decade
Metal Gear Solid V TPP turned 7 today, which marks 7 years since my Freshman Orientation of High School. Feel old yet?
Kojima Tweeted about the anniversary.
