  1. I think the game would benefit greatly from a little handful of smelling salts to wake up incapacitated NPCs. Say, three in total?

  2. A small tube that runs down 47’s sleeve to create a puddle of oil. Single-use only. This could also be accompanied with a Homemade Remote Micro Ignitor, which emits a very small flame. It might fit nicely into Freelancer Mode; as 47 I’m sure is accustomed to making his own tools of the trade.

  3. The ability to garrote/syringe NPCs while they’re seated. I think we all miss this a little.

  4. I would absolutely love to see an 80s-themed outfit. An open varsity jacket (red body, white sleeves) which is reminiscent of 47’s suit colours, with a white t-shirt underneath. The sunglasses the barman wears in Santa Fortuna and the leather gloves that come with the Wrath outfit. Black, skinny ripped jeans similar to P-Powers’ and white hi-top trainers. One does not simply neglect the 80s. Bonus points if it comes with a pair of retro Walkman headphones to be used as a new fibre wire. Those things were indestructible.

  5. Speaking of new outfits. There are three definitively iconic movie assassins: Leon Montana from Leon: The Professional, Anton Chigurh from No Country for Old Men and Ah Jong from The Killer. Outfits inspired by their own would be a nice addition to 47’s wardrobe me thinks, especially Ah Jong as the white suits we have tend to make Mr. Rieper stand out too much; whereas this one is a little more crowd-blending friendly with its off-white colours.

Ok I’m done being a fashion diva now.

Ooh, that would be neat. Chigurgh´s outfit would also have to come with the obligatory terrible wig I guess…

Also, I think you forgot a few names on your list

Mitch Leary! I thought I was the only one who remembered that villain. Well done sir. I suppose IO could make his outfit easily, just take Bravuomo’s getup (same hair and everything) and paint it black, and you’ve got one James Carney  Of course, the plastic composite pistol would need to come with it.

Now, who is this first guy?

Haha, nice! Same here. Glad I´m not the only one to know him  In the Line of Fire is actually one of my favourite films. I tend to watch it a few times a year.

Yeah, I think the Carney setup would be easy enough to do. Though tbh, I picked that image mainly because it looked cool  For a proper Leary look, I think the outfit he wears during the duck shooting or rooftop chase scenes would be more appropriate.

Oh, most definitely.

That would be the Jackal from The Day of the Jackal. THE OG book/movie professional assassin! I honestly thought people would be more familiar with him rather than Leary
Anyways, do check out the book or film if you haven´t. They´re great. (and his outfit would also come with the complimentary custom sniper rifle, which I´m pretty sure inspired one of the customizations for the WA2000 in Blood Money)

Actually, I may have gotten ahead of myself. In terms of film, this title would probably go elsewhere…

I really want two separate sniper rifles that have the explosive ammo from Sniper Assassin and some sort of nerfed variant of the wall piercing ammo (ie can only pass through one wall). The Druzhina Arctic was incredibly fun to play with at launch when it had these ammo variants in error.

I doubt we will ever get it, but I really wish we would. :frowning:

totally agree with you on the smelling salts… sometimes you can’t lure someone over to find an unconscious NPC… I also like the idea of having the ability to garrote, poison, or melee someone who is sitting (or lying) down…

Ah I always think of Bruce Willis as the Jackal. The actual Leary outfit would be better for sure. Could also go for the one-armed hippy look as well. If IO go down this route they should make the composite pistol completely useless, as every time you fire it, Clint Eastwood just comes out of nowhere and jumps in front of the bullet :stuck_out_tongue: I love that scene when he’s running to save the president and just randomly shouts “TIE!!”

Right! The Jackal has so many different looks, I always picture Bruce Willis’ version or the Jackal from the tremendously overlooked movie The Assignment. It’s a hard one to pin down.

Another great assassin - although he doesn’t really have a distinct look - is Henry Faber from Eye of the Needle. I think it’s the first movie to use the hidden blade up the sleeve too. Donald Sutherland was great in that.

That would be pretty cool actually. The wall-piercing ammo would make things far too easy for people, although I could see it being brought in near the end of Hitman. I’d love a tranquilizer rifle with lethal, emetic and sedative rounds too, which would be a nice nod to A New Life in Blood Money. They would need to make it a little harder to use though in terms of accuracy.

Silverballer Duale and Silverballer Duale silenced.

Chair garroting/syringing is sorely missed. Feels strange that you can subdue most seated NPCs and not fibre wire them. Me no like.

Also melee kills with knife, screwdriver and meat cleaver.

I would have loved to see more suits inspired by elusive targets, unlocked by completing them silent assassin. I’ve wanted this since 2016– there are some elusive targets who are totally dripped out.

As 47 will be getting a wardrobe with his upcoming Safehouse, I think it would be nice to complete his classic suit collection. We have the Absolution and Blood Money suits already, it would be cool to have the following:

The Codename Suit

Somewhat scruffy and a little ill-fitted, with a currant-red kipper tie hung loosely from an open collar white shirt. This was 47’s first suit, and the same one he wore while making his way to the top of the ICA food chain.

The Silent Assassin Suit

A slim-fitted, near-vantablack suit. Unmistakably darker than the rest of 47’s wardrobe. Complete with a skinny mahogany-red satin tie, a white shirt with a tab collar and box-leather black gloves. Perfect for making a night call.

The Contracts Suit

A tricorn black suit cut wide in the shoulders to conceal dual sidearms. Accompanied by a rich, scarlet-red tie to compliment an ivory white shirt with a curved cutaway collar, and black leather gloves.

With the recent announcement of Patient Zero being available in contracts mode, and changes to the maps to allow those changes without interference from the PZ gameplay mechanic, it is now more clear than ever that IO can and is willing to make changes to things that have been in place as far back as the first game trilogy. With that comes a wishlist of mine if things that are not currently available but may be able to be so later on, after all brand new content has been released and work on the game begins to wind down. Here’s what I’d like to see:

  1. The ability to play the last PZ mission with any choice of suit, rather than the Tactical Turtleneck as a required default.

  2. An unlockable variant of the Tactical Turtleneck that has gloves (although not the driving gloves).

  3. The ability to play the ICA training missions with either the original or gloved variant is the Tactical Turtleneck (I understand that other suits don’t fit with those two missions, but can we please pick from at least two versions of the one suit that is allowed?).

  4. The Liability with the option to start at the shack in the forest in any suit desired, rather than the 3 beginning spots with default outfits.

  5. An unlockable version of either the HWK92 Covert that does not have the extended magazine, or the similar suppressed pistols that enemies wield on missions starting from H2, the ones with the long and bulky rectangular suppressors.

Speaking of revisiting earlier maps, with this sudden PZ surprise…

I hope this opens up the possibility of us getting the ICA Yacht training level as a contracts mode mission!
As noted by our Kevin_Rudd, it should be easier than most additions to the game, since it already has the capabilities of Contracts Mode (named NPCs, and hidden in the code).

It’s the one piece of Season 1 that’s left that doesn’t have this feature! (if I’m not mistaken there are also more NPCs and exits to it than Final Test). It would also be a bonus to Starter Pack/Hitman 3 owners who already have access to the ICA training maps.

I’d love a Sniper Rifle that could switch between Normal Ammo and Sedative Ammo.

Sometimes you manage to trigger a meeting between a target and some other individual in a secluded area (Marco Abiatti and the Priest in Landslide for exemple) but you can’t really use that opportunity to setup a cool Sniper Kill without having to resort to some kind of AI abuse so no one sees the body of your target.

Of course, you could always go to the meeting place in advance and place a gas mine to make the other dude leave, or just to KO all the guards there so there’s effectively no one left to discover a body, but I’ve always felt like that just defeats the entire point of sniping.

So yeah I wouldn’t mind a Sniper that could use tranq shots (only 1 or 2) for those reasons. (Of course if you don’t care about SA an item like this wouldn’t really matter for you, but I do care!)

I like the idea, never even considered it.

Like the tranq-rifle from “A New Life” (Blood Money).
