A possibility exists that Freelancer will be delayed in its release by IOI. We have not heard whether a delay is not forthcoming. This could not not be true or not true. One of these cases is likely true.

Itâs a very unlikely one at this point, weâre days from launch, theyâve still been touting January 26th as the release date on their social media channels and even more so on their refreshed website.
If there was going to be a delay, IOI wouldâve known it long before the week of and wouldâve communicated a new timeframe instead of upholing the current one. Iâm sure the CTT helped them a great deal on knowing what needed to be done.

very unlikely ⊠but you canât be absolutely sure. Almost completely sure, but not completely sure. Who knows? There could be a massive power outage in Denmark. Someone may have deleted all the files and the backup on mistake just before uploading onto the servers. Who knows?

And Iâm not so sure about death. Most of the death I see is in Hitman; thatâs not real.

Well the way the internet works these days, we can have a dual of avatars, where one dies.
In terms of taxes, I am sure that the government would like to receive a cut of the pay for service that Agent 47 receives. He may be charging a prorate based on whether it is death by strangulation, katana, toilet bowl drowning, exploding propane flask etc.
I would think that he would be renumerated for the cost of drycleaning of his signature 47 MKIII suit and black gloves, especially when it comes to a lot of blood spattering such as with a circumcision knife.

Which actually brings up an interesting question in regards to how 47, and ICA for that matter, charged for the service: is there a discount if the target is an asshole?

According to canon, 47 just does what he is told, and has no emotional attachment to the target that he kills.
Possibly he gets extra money for sponsorships just like an athlete, such as to use of Steinway & Sons piano wire for strangulation kills, or use of a Manchester Sureflame, for exploding Propane Tank or Motomco All-Weather Bait Chunks, which is considered one of the best rat poisons to use.

If there were some sort of power outage or severe thing impacting the online rollout, the delay would only be a day or a few. Not another massive months-long delay

Also according to canon, he does have a sense of honor and enjoys karma and poetic Justice, as well as helping out civilians when he can. So, now that heâs in business for himself and itâs more about the pleasure of the work than the profit, would he, or Diana, or anyone in the business really, offer discounts on targets that theyâd really like to see die? Itâs an interesting notion now that 47âs in this place where itâs not just about the contract, but also about why heâs taking it. I dunno, just seems it would be funny to me.
Death? Yes. Taxes? Not for everyone. Some ppl donât pay themâŠ. Legally.

There must have been a past discussion about targets people have been sad to eliminate. I can think of a few.
Well, there is a slim possibility that Mr. Murphy has an stroke and then we canât invoke his law out of respect for the late Mr. Murphy and his law of foreseen, but unlikely coincidences that happen to come true.
