The new weapon panel acknowledging the paid DLC is I think the template to look at.
Honest, but derivative, additions. Side expansions. Made as part of a larger strategy for the game.
But anything that would require a director, a designer, or a track owner for the sake of itself I think is kinda out.
We donāt know.
I think year 5 will see a bunch of work from IOI other studios.
I even think the jump in production since December is them arriving in.
Do they have some creative license?, where are the decision taken? , did the Hitman Live Team changed, expanded, or just given more ābusy handsā?, what are the objectives for the company?, are those objectives expressible in Freelancer?, attracting new demography, solidifying the core identity of the game for the long tail and prestige, celebrating the franchise 25th anniversary?..
Well, we have new stuff coming for Freelancer. There is the Easter and Halloween decorations coming for the Safe house as weāve seen in the leaks section, so more stuff is coming for that. I hope there is some challenge unlocks aimed for Freelancer in the future as well, like what IOI did with the Black Bruiser suit. I guess weāll find out as Year 5 progresses.
Challenge: Hoardman
Description: You got everything a Hitman could wish for, and you still go out with the usual!?
How to: Have all collectible weapons, tools, and other items on display (all DLC required), but finish 50 hardcore campaigns with only 47ās Signature Suit and the ICA19, nothing else.
No disguise changes. You may pick up items, but using them resets your progress.
Unlock: Hoarder Suit
Suit description: This is totally not a reskin to add more playtime to Freelancer! Have fun!
What it is: Itās a dragon costume, basically āThe Flamingo Suit, but itās a dragonā.
What it does: 47 says āRawrā in the most monotone way he can every now and then.
Once you set a prestige, thatās it. Itās one and done, nothing affects it unless you do a disconnect restart the moment you do it, which will count the prestige to your total, but will put all the weapons back on the wall. However, triggering the prestige again after this will not count toward your total, it will just remove all your items again, meaning you have to refill them legitimately before triggering another prestige that counts toward your total.
