How is it different now?

I thought itā€™s more or less identical with the tie knot being the noticeable difference?

I think I remember hearing/reading something somewhere that they downgraded the textures/finer details on the suit. Was a loooong time ago. So could be misremembering whatever the ā€œissueā€ was.

I see no difference of relevance here.

47ā€™s suit is more or less identical in all three games. Face obviously changed, but IOI didnā€™t change hardly anything on the signature suit.

In freelancer. I seen a video that shows that getting to 100 displays a -0 in the trophy, but still, it doesnt say that it is the maximum and I cant find a solid answer.

100 is the current max.

I was playing Freelancer today and I was sorting through some of the weapons and an idea came into my head :slightly_smiling_face:

For the normal weapon loot crates where 47 stores rubber ducks, poisons etc, wouldnā€™t it have been better if we had the standard crowbar, outstanding coin (when it arrives), classic lock pick etc, like the photo below, which is from the CTTā€¦ā€¦

And then the Collectors Crowbar, Collectors Coin and Collectors Lock Pick should all be housed in the glass cabinets, where they are the different versions from the weapons in the loot crates? Currently, we have the same Crowbar and Lockpick in both the loot crates and glass cabinets, so I just wish they were different from each other.

Just my opinion, but not sure what anyone else thinks? :slightly_smiling_face:

Making Collectorā€™s items distinct from Freelancer Tools would have been a nice touch, yes. I talked about it in the past as well

Played Freelancer again today and had this whilst I was waiting for a Syndicate Leader to come around cornerā€¦ā€¦

IOI, I really hope there is an upcoming fix for 47ā€™s tie appearing through his signature suit :pray:t2: my OCD is through the roof šŸ«Ø

Iā€™ve noticed it does this on most of 47ā€™s suits as well. The Blood Money suit is one of the only few exceptions.

It doesnā€™t do it on his clipped ties. The ones that hang loose and are of the same shade of his signature suit, like the raincoat from Chongqing, they go through the jackets.

I miss Freelancer, but I 100% - ed it. Is there going to be any more content from IOI for Freelancer, or additional achievements I can play for?

As far as we know and what was communicated? No.


New Achievements?
Probably no.
There were none for Freelancer release, nor Ambrose, to begin with.


New Content?
Year 4 saw nothing new being produced outside of celebrETs packs. The main game made legacy items into unlocks. IOI outsourced the ideas to the community. Freelancer had even less, nothing.
It might be different in Year 5, for multiple reasons and possible signs, but it would be unwise to go there yet.
So assume continuity.


Nonetheless, Freelancer has currently 3 loose ends:

  • The ICA Outstanding Service Coin
  • The seasonal decorations for the Safehouse
  • One empty challenge slot in the shelves, which was intended for the removed/unreleased Legendary Assassin challenge. (I believe it was for completing 10 Hardcore campaigns)

I sincerely think one or more of them will end up released one day.

  • The Coin is just not implemented, and still carries its description from when it was one of three Hitman 3 ā€œServiceā€ coins, equivalents to Hitman 2 ā€œPerformanceā€ coins rewarded to players having played ETs in the previous game .
    But it is the most visible missing tool, and everyone is asking for it, everywhere, everytime.
  • The seasonal decorations are in the files, so I wouldnā€™t be surprised if they arrive. So are a bunch of sculpture, at least in illustrations.
  • The empty challenge slot might just have been left behind at the end of development, as can happen.

Well, for the last three roadmaps, which have consisted of Celebrity Elusive Targets, they have included cosmetics/decorations for the Safehouse, so I expect that to continue into the Winter roadmap and hopefully well into next year with future roadmaps! :crossed_fingers:t2: Like @LandirtHome has mentioned, we are still waiting for the Seasonal Safehouse decorations, so hopefully they will arrive in the not so distant future! :pray:t2::slightly_smiling_face:

Plus, there is some overdue bug fixes that need addressing and hopefully weā€™ll get more unlock challenges themed around Freelancer, very much like the Black Bruiser suit unlock that time.

Pretty cool pictures of the Seasonal Safehouse decorations! I havenā€™t seen them ones before? :wink: have you got anymore that you could post? We better have the Xmas tree as part of the Winter roadmap haha

Iā€™ve played hundreds of video games in my lifetime, and by far, Hitman Freelancer was the most fun I have ever had in a video game.

Never too much of a good thing, I say.

For mass market appeal, IOI has focused on Celebrity Elusive Targets, and I can see what IOI are doing, which is to attract normies into the real niche social stealth, genre of video game. They will do this for the Brocolli/MGM/Eon Productions James Bond franchise they are working on.

Of course, we are likely to see a return of the fan favorites like Agent 47, and Diana Burnwood, Agent 07ā€™s handler, meeting up with James Bond and his handler, ā€œMā€. There will be an epic battle between handlers, Diana Burnwood and Judi Dench, while Agent 47 and Agent 007 fight it off like Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty at Reichenbach Falls, where Agent 47 fakes his death to return to take on James Bond in ā€œthe return of Agent 47.ā€

Mark my words.
