I’m on Xbox One… it’s an old console. 1st generation most likely
That’s what I meant with “minus the section for the cosmetics/weapons pack”.
I only wasn’t sure about the tool because it’s way faster to collect them all that they’re always complete anyway by the time you get the final weapon for your wall.
Its a bug. Whether they’re just not getting removed after activating prestige or they’re meant to be selectable is anyone’s guess though.
Fun fact: You can make them pick upable for mission #1 by exiting to menu after prestiging and then reloading into the Safehouse.
I thought about purposely getting 47 wacked so I could wake up in safe house with Merces waiting for me , then begin collecting
The better option is to finish a campaign, open the reward crate but don’t take the coin, go prestige, then take the coin. you’ll end up with a total of 60K
I think there has been issues with the fuse on the Xbox One version I’ve heard?
My best advice would be to report it as a player ticket at the below link:
thanks… I’ve reported it twice already… I’m hoping the next patch will fix it
?
What
I hit prestige, wall resets.
I complete the campaign but no coin is presented. So far all 4 crates were snipers
Or are you trying to say
When my wall is complete and the option is presented to go to the next prestige level if I see a coin don’t touch, click prestige then get coin?
Look… when I’m on the final level of a campaign, and I do that Hitman tomfoolery thing of pushing the limits, garroting my target within questionable view of her Assassin, and he notices me and I run to the bus exit at the center of Santa Fortuna, but I instead hold triangle on “Blend In” which is right next to the ESCAPE prompt and I slowly sit down on the bench and I’m being shot at…
That’s when I force restart. No shame baby.
Basically this, yes. Complete the final campaign before prestiging, open the reward crate, don’t take the Merces, prestige, then when everything is gone pick up the Merces.
The crate gives you weapons as long as your weapon wall isn’t complete. It will give you Merces instead when you already own everything.
sometimes the crate gives me Merces even if I don’t have a full weapons wall… seems like maybe 10% of the time… but definitely random
The crate also gives different rarity weapons at different levels of the campaign. For the first syndicate in a campaign, the crate will provide you with a Common item. For the second syndicate, you’ll get a Rare item. Third syndicate rewards you with an Epic item and the final syndicate’s reward is a Legendary item. If you already have all the common weapons and complete the first syndicate, you’ll only get Merces as a reward, and so on.
Also some weapons seem to be unobtainable through the reward crate and the only way to get them is buying from a suplier, such as the Ancestral, Ornamental and DLC weapons, the Shashka A33 Gold and the Assassin’s HWK21 pistol (only obtainable from an assassin in a showdown).
The HWK21 Pale also never appears in the reward crate (it’s probably a bug) so it’s a good idea to buy it whenever vendors have it, it’s pretty cheap anyway. I didn’t know the Shashka Gold was also like that though :x
Ah, the Buff stop. A classic:
For those unacquainted, the delay from the bench sitting was what cost him the round.
Weird, I got a common item on my 3 rd
But the 2nd was a legendary the best sniper of them all.
It’s random
Dunno. This is from the Hitman Wiki, for whatever it’s worth:
- weapons can be found within missions, Crates, bought from Suppliers, or completing the 1st syndicate in normal campaign.
- weapons can be found within missions, Crates, bought from Suppliers, or completing the 2nd syndicate in normal campaign.
- weapons can be found within missions (currently there’s only Burial Dagger and Katana in Isle of Sgàil), bought from Suppliers, or completing the 3rd syndicate in normal campaign.
- weapons can be bought from Suppliers or completing the 4th syndicate in normal campaign.
In hardcore campaign, the rarity of weapons rewarded when completing syndicates will go up one level, meaning that the player can receive a rare weapon from completing the 1st syndicate, epic weapon from the 2nd, legendary from the 3rd and 4th. If there’s no weapon to reward the player, Merces will be rewarded to the player instead.
It’s not random but your reward can get “downgraded” if you have all items of a specific high tier while missing some of an earlier tier. Like I often get epics in the 4th crate because I tend to collect all legendaries before collecting all epics.
So it’s possible to get a common in the 3rd crate if you have all epics and rares but not all commons (which sounds pretty unusual to me as your goal should be to collect all commons as soon as possible - none of them cost as much as the 10k you get in the 1st crate instead if you have them all, and you’re bound to see that first crate often if you fail a few campaigns).
Legendaries in the 2nd crate shouldn’t happen though, as far as I know it can only spawn rares, commons and 15k.
As I’m in the middle of my “play 15 campaigns once every 6 months”, I’ve found this cheat sheet for the Leader traits.
Which is useful enough by itself.
But then I realised that each possible clue is repeated 4 times per hair colour/gender. But that strangely some leaders have a combination 3 of them, while others have 4. As if one is missing in the sheet.
Because it’s a remnant of the removed “Watches” trait, present in the CTT, and still visible in the rolling animation in the safehouse.
Which I find neat to find out.
This is an incredibly helpful image, I knew somebody should have documented this! Hairstyles and clothing show up on Instinct (unlike hats, unfortunately), so you can this to identify plenty of suspects from afar.
And good job pointing out the cut wristwatch thing. Always a pleasure reading your posts!
