What do you mean tomorrow, I want it today!
donāt worry my friend you can unlock it today in the afternoon
The only disappointment I have with it is that it doesnāt have the ergonomic grip.
well there you go man enjoy it
Well, unlocked it and planning on never using it
I just want to have it hanging on my wall in freelancer.
I thought it was a little odd that the challenge requires you to complete it within the DGS escalation, rather than allowing you to do it in a contract on the DGS location. Couldāve been more fun/more of a puzzle that way. Oh well.
Eh, itās just a re-skinned Silverballer, and these one-item challenges are usually easy, busy-work stuff.
I like how this can be completed in the 3 escalations levels as normal or contracts
Whaaaaat? I picked a three target contract with no specific kill conditions for DGS and the challenge menu was empty on PS5 with the 'There are no challenges available for this mission" message. I wanted a challenge with targets that werenāt specifically chosen to make it easier.
Same for me on PC, but I was looking to do the Challenge in a contract designed to make it easier for me!
For what itās worth, I disagree with that. In my opinion, challenges should be limited. If the challenge is to use the three garden tools, that should be all that is required. Adding silent assassin or other objectives to it just complicates things unnecessarily.
Forcing a silent assassin rating or disallowing anyone seeing you do an illegal action doesnāt add anything to players that already always try to play that way and forces players who donāt play that way to do things they donāt care about.
I am kinda surprised they go back to challenge packs like that. They were filler content in H2, you did them to forget them so you did something to push the game activity. It made much sense to me when they just cut them all for H3.
Oh, well I didnāt try it myself but Tetrafish did and seemingly ācompleted itā but it never verified the challenge completion until they played the main escalation mission. So, itās supposed to be possible, in theory.
There are players who will simply always play to get a Silent Assassin rating. Those players will gain nothing from having the added requirement of getting that rating. My friend @Heisenberg will probably complete this challenge using his unique play style and will get Silent Assassin and probably do it suit only just for good measure.
There are other players who couldnāt care less about silent assassin or any other rank. For players like that, itās just a punishment to force them to play to earn a specific rank. Youād be limiting the availability of the unlock to specific style of play for no good reason.
āChallengeā isnāt an objective thing. It means different things to different people. Why not just make getting Silent Assassin required for every time you play? Why not just make it where if the level is over as soon as you break silent assassin? The reason is accessibility. If people are punished for not being as good as you are, thatās unfair.
Eh. I went in telling myself Iād play expertly and do this silent assassin. Within sixty seconds Iād been found out, and thatās when the forks started flying!
Let people have their fun. I think the devs agree.
I unlocked the challenge with Silent Assassin.
I replayed the entire escalation, and I did one item of the challenge list per stage of the escalation.
I chose to do so. And I had fun doing it on my own accord.
I understand your point, but the entire point of the game is how fluid and open it is. There are a few select challenges that require more, mostly the classics. And only them, and they are presented as āthe ultimate challengeā of each missions.
If I was forced to do SA, or any other ever growing list of conditions, I would have stopped playing the game a long time ago. This allows fun, while still permitting more if one wants. In a way, by not giving more conditions on most challenges the game trains the players to seek more by and for themselves. Because this is how the real game is.
SASONKO, placed disguises only, no crouching, loadout only, whatever Heisenberg does, all of this is created by the players, on their initiative. But the game still needs to seed it, and not kill it in the egg by being restrictive.
Also insta fail are just a mood killer.
Every once in a while we get a user on the forum who complains that the game isnāt challenging enough. They will show up, make some general suggestions about how they think the game should have been made, and then disappear for a while, sometimes forever, sometimes just for a few months.
We encourage these types of users, actually. We like to hear their comments and we like to discuss the game, how we feel about it, and what types of things we would like to see in the future.
Things fall apart though when the user puts the same couple of comments in a bunch of different threads, makes the same arguments over and over, and just insists that more challenge is needed. We get it and in some case we agree, but we arenāt IOI. We didnāt create the game.
At the risk of offending, I would encourage users to make their comments but do it once and let the discussion flow. Donāt make the same comment over and over until someone agrees.
I lolāed. Nicely done, 47.
I think DGS was a good addition but I didnt imagine Iād actually go back to it any time soon. This is honestly a great idea. Only hope they make it a more regular thing
