Doesn’t seem to be working for me either on Xbox. All Hitman 2016 and Hitman 2 levels are greyed out.
I’ve reinstalled “Hitman 3 Access Pass: Hitman 2 Expansion” and it’s still not worked. Tried the whole thing in the store as well and it’s still listing a price, even though in game it’s stating it’s free?

Yeah I can’t play H2 maps, I own H2 on disc. I’m sure they’ll patch it.
Hm. I have Hitman 2016 maps but no H2 maps, other than NY and Haven.

I just had this problem and figured it out based on what happened with HITMAN 2.
For PlayStation owners, I do not blame this on IOI at all. The Store has been trash since Sony updated it before the PS5 launch.
I have H3 for PS4 and PS5 but I was trying to get everything on PS5. The PROGRESS TRANSFER went off without a hitch.
However, getting MISSION ACCESS was not working well.
HERE IS HOW I GOT HITMAN 1 AND 2 MISSION ACCESS ON HITMAN 3 (PS5)
(I am assuming you own both games for PS4)
- Download HITMAN 1 and 2 to PS5 (each individual game)
- Go to PlayStation Store (had to use the phone app as console and PC were of no use)
- Add HITMAN GOTY Access Pack for HITMAN 3
- Add HITMAN 2 Gold Access Pack for HITMAN 3 (or whatever version you own)
- Download the unlock keys to your PS5
- Confirm you have everything in H3.
- Delete HITMAN and HITMAN 2 (optional) from your PS5.
Ridiculous procedure, but the store was trying to charge me before that.
I then download the Hitman 2 Free Starter Pack then it appeared to work. Now it’s just the 2016 maps that are greyed out.
Think that’s the main problem for everyone on Xbox as well.
im on pc and dont have access to hitman 2 as well… at least (most) of my items carried over but id like the levels loll
I was finally able to downlaod hitman 3: hitman 2 access pass standard edition for free into Hitman 2
It took about 15 minute to get the download to work since the playstation store was always giving me an error code.
I know that IOI said that you need to have the Hitman 2 starter pack to get the access pass to work for hitman 2.
But yesterday evening I just started hitman 2 and go to the in game store and the hitman 2 access pass was finaly there.
after it was downloaded everything worked flawlessly into hitman 3
I just went into Hitman III, clicked on the access pass for GOTY and nothing came up. It was still grayed out. I went into Hitman II and clicked on the access pass under the store, came back to Hitman III and my stuff was there. Hope this helps.
It wasn’t working on release day at all, finally it showed up the next day and mine was fixed, but yes the content was in the Hitman 2 store not 3, so it’s working now guys!! Hope everyone has a seamless data transfer
Been fumbling around with things and have a few suggestions for PS5 players.
Restore Licenses. I had to do this because I also wanted to play HITMAN 2 (the game, not legacy) on PS5 to clean up some trophies. Before I did that, I could not even get the system to add the content.
Make sure HITMAN 2016 and HITMAN 2 are (at least temporarily) installed on your PS5. Go into 2016 to download the legacy pack for 2. Once both those games are on, you should be able to get the HITMAN 3 Access Packs.
Restart the PS5. Some content would not show until after I did this even though it showed as installed.
Manage Game Content. In the game hub, select HITMAN 3 and hit Options. Select “Manage Game Content.” Make sure every item shows a file size. If it does not, click X on it to download/install it. Even though I got HITMAN 3 at launch, apparently the missions were not all installed.
I’ve just bought Hitman 3 (standard) for PS5 on disc. I own Hitman 2 (standard) on disc and Hitman (standard) digitally. I have been playing Hitman 2 with the legacy pack downloaded with all working fine however after taking the steps some have mentioned above - downloading the access passes for both Hitman 1 and 2 which were listed for free for me they are greyed out when booting Hitman 3 and say ‘get access’. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times but still no luck accessing it. Has anyone else had this or does anyone know of a fix? Any help would be appreciated.

Having the same issue but on Xbox. Reinstalled Hitman 1 & 2.
Got the Hitman 1 GOTY Pass, got the Hitman 2 Expansion pass so I actually have New York and Haven Island. But when I click on the Hitman 2 Standard Pass for Hitman 3 (Disc) in the H2 store tab, it takes me to the Xbox store and charges me $149 for the standard Pass.
Which ironically is even more than the digital gold edition of H2.
Edited to add I’ve tried uninstalling Hitman 2 and using the Hitman 2 Demo download from the MS store which it mentioned doing in the IOI player guide for H3 to access the Hitman 2 Store tab, same issue, tries to charge me premium for H2 Standard Pass. It’s like the Xbox store isn’t recognizing I own Hitman 2 because I have it on disc.

Having the same issue here - Xbox One S, Live in the US.
Own Hitman 1 GOTY digital.
Own Hitman 2 physical + Expansion pass digital
Own Hitman 3 digital.
All of hitman 1+GOTY content imported fine and access pass downloaded fine.
Only hitman 2 expansion content imported, and the Expansion access pass downloaded.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled 2, all content plus Starter edition.
Access pass won’t populate in the HM2 store, and I’m not paying $60 just to buy it again in 3…
So… I’m definitely waiting on a fix…

There’s a mention on the technical support thread that they’re aware of the problem and working on a fix and to check the ‘known issues’ thread for updates but the issue hasn’t been added to the known issues thread. Last update was 26 Feb, people been having the problem since launch.

Having the same issue. Ald installed my H2 disc ver on my PS5 but no access pass in the ingame store. Have installed H3 digital on the same system.
