I want IOI to finally bring all of the Escalations from H1 and H2 to H3 so I can enjoy them in the most recent version. There has been ZERO initiative to fix any existing bugs in the first 2 games, so why not allow people to play everything in H3 instead?

You ever played all of them before? If yes and you still want them in H3, you’re a masochist. If no and you still want them, there’s a reason why ioi didn’t bring them to H3: most of them absolutely SUCK.

I think all of the ones in H2 and the ones brought forward from H1 were all carried over to H3.
As for the remaining ones from H1, there is very little of interest left to carry over and tend to be very repetitive, especially with the 5 levels (and I second what 47Agent said).

The ones not brought over are the same level of quality as the ones from 2 and 3 imo (i.e. 60% are mediocre, 20% are dogshit, and 20% are actually fun to do - every person probably has a different opinion on these percentages). Every 2016 map has at least one escalation I’d like to see brought back. I’d like to see the challenges from 2016 and 2 that were cut brought back in 3 as well. At least re-adding more legacy stuff would help fill up the sparse roadmaps.

Though I’m not particularly interested in actually playing the escalations, I would like IOI to make all content playable within Hitman 3, to have something like a final/complete version of the trilogy (even if the celebrity ETs and Sarajevo Six would still be missing).

Is it possible to bring back those Season 1 escalation contracts to the WOA, such as The Agana Abyss in The Icon & The Spaggiari Subversion in Landslide?
From my point of view, that could be a good update for expanding the game content.

I miss The Susumu Obsession Escalation from Hokkaido the most. I hope that one from Hitman (2016) especially gets brought back.

So, those escalations are there now? I don’t know which ones are from 2016, I’ve forgotten them all, but if I turn on my Xbox now and start playing escalations in H1 maps, they’ll be there?

Nope, but they can be, which was the question.
They’re also right now in the previous games, which use the exact same contracts system and bricks.

It has been done, just not by IO. You’re saying Modders and better at making the game than IO? Odd.
Oh, ok, there it is. That’s what I meant when I said the real game. If it’s a mod and not an IO update accessible to everyone just from having the game, it’s not the real game.

Again, that only matters if you think IO are less capable of doing things with their own game than modders are. Which again, is a very odd thing to think.
I don’t understand what that statement means. What I am saying is, modding doesn’t count. If something can only be done with mods, then it’s not actually part of the game, it’s just basically legalized hacking of the game. Has nothing to do with IO’s capability compared to modders. The question had been posed to combatglue if the escalations can be added back in. If mods are the only way they have been so far, then they have not been added back in yet, because those mods are not the real game.

I don’t know why this is being so pedantic, to be honest. The question was whether those escalations could be reintroduced into the official game by IOI. The answer is clearly Yes. As evidence, Kevin_Rudd pointed out that modders had brought them into the game (albeit not officially endorsed by IOI) so it should be easy for IOI to do the same. It doesn’t matter whether it’s the real game or not. It can be done. If IOI chooses to do it, it will be done. If they don’t, then it won’t, but the question was just whether it could be done and the answer is clearly yes.

But if we can expect it to happen by IOI.
The way to go at it after was terrible discussion and pedantic though.
