Boomerang and 5 other things on my 2025 Hitman Wishlist

1. Boomerang
Imagine if Agent 47 had a Boomerang. A blunt weapon that when thrown would automatically return to him. No more throwing a hammer and then having to retrieve after hiding a brain damaged guard. No more heartbreak after sacrificing your precious banana to destroy those darn snooping security cameras. The Boomerang could be added in Hawke’s Bay in the [SPOILER[ secret armory and additionally unlocked through location mastery or a challenge involving the use of the Boomerang. Alternatively, the Boomerang will act like a unique version of a gun, you aim and shoot (throw in case) like normal but if the Boomerang doesn’t collide with anybody and/or maybe anything then it returns to Agent 47. However, if it collides with anybody and/or maybe any obstacle, then it drops like all other throwable objects. It’s a neat and unique non-lethal weapon that would absolutely not break the game as a long range distraction. The Boomerang shouldn’t have the ability to holster it. However this could possibly create a dilemma. If thrown, and then Agent 47 retrieves another item that cannot be holstered (ex: shovel), what happens to the returning Boomerang? Two proposed solutions are that Agent 47 either is incapacitated by the returning Boomerang (Mission Failed, should be a secret Challenge), or it flies by and acts like a default thrown object (gravity specifically). The Boomerang should be legal in Casual difficulty, but illegal in Master and perhaps Professional difficulty too. The Boomerang should be legal for guards. So in short, IOI please add the Boomerang. It’s be a unique neat weapon that would be a great addition to Agent 47’s collection.

2. BOOMerang
Similiar to the proposed Boomerang but now as an explosive. The BOOMerang (pun intended) explodes on all contact with anyone and anything. BUT, if the BOOMerang returns to Agent 47, then our favourite bald assassin gets a taste of his own medicine. The BOOMerang will look like a highly sophisticated ICA device, be rubber ducky themed, or a piece of C4 just tied to the default Boomerang. This would be a gamechanger weapon for players and speed runners, so it should be unlocked through an elusive target mission or the elusive target arcade mode.

3. Rocket Launcher (alternate name: Bazooka)
The Rocket Launcher is an explosive sniper rifle. The weapon will fire a projectile that instead of acting as a simple bullet will erupt into a strong explosion. But to nerf its potent potential, there should no scope and the rocket a tad slower than typical bullets. Additionally, before firing, the Rocket Launcher should have a short animation that is an illegal action, and guards should move the rocket’s origin quicker than other guns. The Rocket Launcher will have only 1 use before reloading is required, and rocket ammunition should not be retrievable in levels. The ICA Facility Base, Colorado, Ambrose Island, Miami (inside of the Kronstadt weapons [which include missiles] making facility), and the Carpathian Mountains could be possible exceptions. The Rocket Launcher will be available in the loadout menu and Agent 47 will start off with the same amount of ammunition as other sniper rifles do. This can be increased or decreased for balancing gameplay mechanics. The Rocket Launcher will of course be illegal in all disguises like other sniper rifles. Although it may appear at a glance that the Rocket Launcher should be excluded from the Sniper Assassin challenge, it’s loud explosion will make it challenging to avoid being spotted by guards and NPCs. The Rocket Launcher would also attract a lot of interest to gamers who may play another videogame instead of Hitman: World of Assassination, I sure many streamers would create videos centred around the Rocket Launcher. The Rocket Launcher should not have the ability to be bolstered. The Rocket Launcher should be unlocked as either a deluxe edition escalation contract centred around the weapon or as an entirely separate DLC because Hitman definately needs another cameo elusive target and/or cosmetic bundle. The Rocket Launcher would be a very very enjoyable addition to Hitman IOI, please seriously consider adding this weapon to the game.

4. Homing Missile (alternate name: (The Homing Pigeon))
This weapon would function like the proposed Rocket Launcher. Instead, the Homing Missile would aim like a thrown weapon, locking onto targets and follow them. This weapon would not qualify for Sniper Assassin. The design could be pigeon themed and the Homing Missile could be alternatively be branded as the Homing Pigeon. This weapon could included in a bird themed cosmetic/weapon DLC and would fit right in with Agent 47’s explosive ducks and his timeless flamingo disguise look.

5. Pencil (or alternatively Crayon)
The Pencil should be a legal and lethal weapon that can be holstered. The Pencil is a great addition to Hitman because it is a versatile object that can be inserted in practically all current levels. As a bonus, the Pencil can have varying colours from predictable grey lead to colour pencils available in a bonus DLC bundle. Thr Crayon is an alternative because whatever John Wick can do, Agent 47, engineered for assassinations can do it better.

6. Keanu Reeves Premium Elusive Target
Let’s put aside the competition between the Baba Yaga franchise and IOI. instead how about they have contracts on the same target, and Keanu Reeves stars as a dangerous assassin trying to terminate Agent 47’s contract first. Creating a nostalgic nod towards Hitman 2’s Ghost Mode. This elusive target could promote the upcoming John Wick Movie Ballerina, and would guaranteed please a large range of fans of both franchises. This could be a premium elusive target DLC.

I mostly want anaesthetic that works like H2SA. Can be used to sedate multiple times, but only temporary based on how many bottles.

Also a classic lethal syringe that can administer several doses but has to be injected slowly into the neck and run the risk of being caught.

I would also like some more fiberwire variants since the current ones aren’t all that exciting.

Interesting ideas :+1:

I would add my two cents with:

  • Tranq rifle
  • Missile (back) / Grenade launcher (hand)
  • Sedative grenades
  • Tracking/Marking device (for targets or npcs)
  • Flashlight/Torch (that could also be used as a weapon)
  • Briefcase with spikes (injures/kills the target when activated)
  • Jamming device (guards and npcs cant talk using radios and phones in a specific range)

Lots of other things could be added to the list…

We already have a torch and an emetic grenade

There are two emetic grenades I believe. There’s the one that actually looks like a grenade, and another that resembles a voodoo potion

Actually, there are three:

Plus the Durian Fruit, which is not a grenade, but close …

My bad i was meaning sedative grenades, fixed
