Okay fine, I was feeling snarky at the time, and folks seem to like your pun , so I take it back .
Yeah, that whiskey Rolf has is really good.
Also love this bodyguard outfit. Wish it was unlockable.
This level needs to return to Elusive Target Arcade!
Although unlikely to happen, but as this level is set post Hitman III, MAKE IT COME TO FREELANCER!!!
I hope when the new CelebET comes out they put it, the Drop and either the Undying or another ET if they keep doing more in an arcade batch called The Guests
Gotta say, I love how The Drop still has the hilariously loud exfiltration music when you kill the target!
I’m so close to getting a record time for this mission but this one blasted NPC woman keeps getting killed on the stairway as collateral. Hey, if you’re on Xbox and you see my name in the top 50 but as the Gravity Manipulator amongst Silent Assassins score, that’s me!
I love the fact we now have The Drop as part of Elusive Target Arcade so we can play the mission when we want.
I remember saying before the first time around, as the mission is clearly set post Hitman III epilogue, it would be a shame after the Club had been fully revamped and refurbished, for it to have been stuck behind the standard Elusive Target setting.
Also, interestingly, Diana mentions to 47 in the mission briefing about Berlin being a familiar location, which is also another bit of confirmation this mission clearly takes place post Hitman III as 47 is returning back to a fully refurbished Club
Yes, if I had to make a guess of the post-Carpathian Mountains timeline: 47 completed the Dartmoor Garden Show mission as his first job back in the business to start rebuilding his cash reserves; Diana recognized the MO as him from the news reports and sends him a secret message on where to find her; the ending cutscene of H3 takes place in the winter cabin where they agree to work together again; The Drop contract drops into their lap (sorry) from an old ICA contact and it’s used as the last bit of seed money to finalize their plans and get things ready; 47 moves into the safehouse (the actual move-in might have happened before The Drop, but it’s the first job he does before going after any syndicates) and begins operating under his and Diana’s new business model for Freelancer. With the canonicity of The Disruptor uncertain due to multiple factors, if it does take place in the actual timeline, it’s seated somewhere in the middle of the Freelancer work, pick your time.
Please excuse me if this was theorized before and I missed it, but is this the reason why there is no spoken pre-mission brief to the Dartmoor Garden Show? Is it b/c Diana has yet to link back up w/ 47 after the end of H3 and 47 is tackling the garden show on his own?
Whenever I play this “mission” on my (updated) PS5, I have the usual map intro sceens & views of the stage but no verbal intro of it. I used to think that it was a stage “glitch”…
THX
I would assume the real reason is that because they didn’t want to pay Jane Perry to record new lines since it was content being given out for free. Any story-based explanation is just made up.
That’s my theory. I know @thrison gave an explanation there, but I’m not sure how much sense that makes considering everything else that they’ve had her around for that could have skipped her, like Freelancer and 7DS, and even Ambrose Island. There’s probably some truth to it, but the fact that DGS clearly takes place after the main game chronologically, seems to have no definitive place it could be put down in the timeline, and then add in the lack of involvement from Diana and that 47 has canonically taken up work on his own when not employed by ICA, it’s readable to assume that, if DGS can be considered part of the lore, that’s the best and least messy place to set it. It would also provide a helpful explanation of how Diana found 47 again in the first place to pitch the Freelancer idea to him.
Well, I got it on the arcade but messed up on the live one. My perfect 4 year long record of all ETs completed SA is tarnished forever. Last time that record was broken was in 2018 during the Deceivers in HITMAN 2.
A part of me died just now.
Nah, just kidding. My perfectionist soul is definitely hurt but I knew the risks I was taking. If I had nailed this strategy down, I would’ve got a 35 second run or less. We go again, Agents, onto the next mission.
(To my fellow perfectionists, just do a safe strategy. No matter how many times you’ve done these missions )

Couldn’t have said it better myself!
A brand new method for a Suit Only/Silent Assassin/No Loadout/No KO version which is totally different to the accident kill i eliminated him with the previous occasion. This time i use the banana peel to create an accident on Dimitri Vegas’s Personal Bodyguard who follows him everywhere with a very limited route. Place the banana peel in the exact position i did & this will scare Dimitri Vegas by witnessing the accident. He will literally run all the way upstairs (run pasts 47 in the video) towards the Juice Bar area like a coward
You have 2 kill opportunities here:
1=Accident kill with the disco ball where you can kill Agent Swan in the Apex Predator mission.
2=Where i kill him, as he walks through the green container. He will mess around on his phone under the disco ball for a short period, but eventually he will walk through the green container on his own isolated with an easy kill to take him out. His Personal Bodyguard will eventually locate him, so be quick to eliminate him before you get seen…
Agent 47 out
Tried to poison him with vodka in Arcade but nothing happened. He stood in front of the poisoned glass, 47 stood behind the bar, both looked like complete idiots for 5 minutes, then I restarted the mission, because i couldn’t do anything else. Seems to be a bug.
Edit: Tried it again and then it worked.
*drops the mic*
And I just Dropped The Drop. Simplest thing in the world. Just went in with the durian in my possession, and the Silverballer tucked away in a hidden stash. I retrieved the pistol and made sure the door to the back exit area near the lower floor bathrooms was opened (from the other side, didn’t even need to obtain a key), then went up top and hopped over the wall near the port-a-potties outside, into the area with the biker hangout entrance. Took the shortcut path down to the hallway above the club owner’s office that leads out to the spot where The Drop has his VIPs.
Waited for him to come back to this area and stand there, threw the durian from a safe distance, then ducked out of sight, he walks over to puke over the ledge into the owner’s office area, and I sent him over. Ducked out of sight for a moment so the guard wouldn’t see me when he turned around at the sound, then walked out after he turned back around since no one else who can see you there gets suspicious, then retraced my steps back down to the lower floor, through the door I had unlocked by opening from the other side, and exited the map at the lower level exit.
Easy peasy, didn’t have to pick up anything and not a Drop of blood spilled, terrible accident, SA, SO, No KO, HPP. Chef’s kiss.
Might be biased, but damn I think this is one of the best Elusive Targets ever, if not the best one.
Many intended opportunities that take at least a bit of an effort to complete (no freebie disco ball or gas lamp kills) and that can play out in slightly different ways, the obvious cherry on top being the face-to-face confrontation as Rolf. Also I just love how they repurposed the 2nd floor basement, much better than a big boring backstage area in the main mission, and the rebrand of the whole club just goes an extra mile to make this mission a bit more of a unique experience.
Is the UFO exit disable on this mission? I could not trigger it last night.
