That looks way worse imo :sweat_smile: the lighting on the suits is quite nice, some good contrast.

But the lighting on his head is awful! The old lighting gave him dark shadows under the eyes giving him an ominous dangerous feeling. The new lighting doesn’t have that and instead is too strong on the sides, making his head look like it’s made out of plastic/he’s an angry toddler

I’m sure I won’t mind when I’m just strolling through the suit menu, but still :confused:

Edit: a comparison of all three games suits. I tried blending H2 and H3 faces together on the last one and it looks better imo

From an artistic standpoint, I don’t get why they would move the light source. Surely, a spotlight overhead makes more sense than one favoring his right side? In a dressing room, the light is always above one’s head. They should have kept the old lighting

I think his face didn’t look very good in the old thumbnails
and that’s why they changed it
since the picture is small. you can’t really see his eyes correctly
the new one is better in my opinion

The new lighting actually makes the suits look better but his head look worse despite being the same model. Like the metal really shines on the right.

you know, you’re actually right. i was busy examining his face (because this is the thread for facial stuff mostly lol), so i didn’t notice that. at least that’s improvement. there should be a way to meet in the middle though - have both the metal gleam and emphasize the shadows on his face. and to make his bald head have more luster

Yeah I prefer the lighter pale look of his face in lighting on the left.

But yeah, the suit does look miles better. I wonder how much of that is lighting and how much is actually changing the suit (you can see they have changed it by the belt buckle) looked at this and the buckle is the same, just the H3 one pops much more :sweat_smile:

When you click the Twitter link the photo looks more enhanced so you get a better idea of what 47 looks like.

Yeah I had a little trouble uploading them. They were too large to upload for HMF’s standards, so I took the direct link to a smaller image to combat it. It’s also why I left a link to where it can be found so people can see the source to it and for context.

I realized a little while ago when they revealed the new face that, they have 47s HITMAN 2 face on the cover art still. I know its hard to make out for some but that is definitely the HITMAN 2 face and it says HITMAN III

I can see what you mean but to me it looks like the H3 face, especially if you look a little closer. It’s just because of the angle and lighting I think.

i’ve changed my opinion. HITMAN 3’s face is actually the best one out of the entire trilogy. people will see what i mean on Wednesday, i think :slight_smile:

I agree. I think it’s a lot better in the new streams.
In early access from the preview he was much younger. But, It seems like that they have changed it a bit in the final build
