Hitman has been shelved and probably won’t see the light of day for awhile. Considering if 007 does well, I’m sure the team much rather make a second one before they come back to Hitman. So why not allow people who want to keep playing and staying engaged with the series have the tools to do so.
If people could create their own assets, control npc pathing, routes, custom targets and location, new maps, ect. The game could last even longer take it from bethesda even though that company has fallen from grace and pretty much lived long enough to become the villain when they just let modders fix their game why not let modders improve what we already have ? I see soo many good mods that are promising but lack the tools needed to actually do major changes to the game or add anything like maps for an example.
