Year 3 - Winter Roadmap

Does Year 2 have any Colorado targets? I want Agent 47 in that goofy hat so here’s hoping.

Maybe they’re still coming but they just didn’t put it in the roadmap? Greater oversights have happened. Or perhaps not even an oversight; maybe they just felt not enough excitement exists for a contracts mode on maps that are already available and mostly the same, so no need to advertise for it again when shinier prizes are up.

I did expect the Enemy suit today, but it turns out that I was wrong.

Less full than previous roadmaps, but it was also the case last year with the Winter 2022/23 roadmap. A rerun of ET and reactivation of HH and HSF.
But I like the items proposed this month. Contracts and challenge pack are interesting.

Looking at this roadmap makes me think that other surprises are on the run next year :slightly_smiling_face:

Looks fine all around. Still I want the option to choose the starting suit in Carpathian Mountains.

Is the ETs Galore gonna be like past reruns where, I’d I already beat them for this year, I won’t be able to play again, and it’s just for people who missed them before?

Most likely I doubt they would do it differently

I am disapoint.

First in October they decided to remove The Fugitive ET that was on the 2023 timeline - which would have been the first ET going live in Y3 that wasn’t just a copy and paste over from the Y2 list. And now they’ve axed The Warlord that was set for December too.

Yeah the 2023 timeline was subject to change, but boooooooo. Cutting the only two ETs that we didn’t get last year, while following the rest of the timeline exactly? Stupid.

Also, I guess the new escalation they promised us got cut too.

Ah, I believe the ET rerun spree in December is for Y2-version ETs? If yes, would be nice to get part of this set of blanks filled off. (Was unable to play for the entirety of Y2 due to “unforeseen complications” IRL.)

For me it will be a way to play them. I stopped to play Hitman for a lot of months. Fo lack of time and for lack of new contents that made very boring play this game

Oh damn! I’d have loved another chance for The Warlord outside of the arcade.
This roadmap’s confusing me a lot - the lack of my curated contracts worries me (worries me a fair bit too, got me overthinking why it’s not there) yet also the contracts mode activations are missing too? Can hardly have merry mysteries after Christmas

I’ve replied to the Email I’ve got, hope I get a response. Email definitely says December for the release.

I guess they are going to do what almost every company does now celebrate Christmas in January

Celebrity gif. Keanu Reeves leans against a brick wall. He furrows his eyebrows, tilts his head, and blinks in utter confusion.

No it doesn’t, it looks good. These packs acting as an index for their challenges makes sense, as they spans several levels. I wouldn’t be against the C47 and Cloud 9 packs being in a seperate category of “Various” instead of in Hitman 3’s section, but being put at the front of H3 works too. Useful so you can easily go from location to location, be reminded on what to do, all without much faff, especially if you cannot commit to one session.

I genuinely like that they did this. It’s some nice QOL that’s sorely needed in IOI’s otherwise odd menu design.

hopefully the challenge packs keeping going cause im miss these

The older challenge packs tended to lean toward more to “kill or do random thing that is tangentially related to the theme of the pack”, and thus, I found them to either be annoying, or just filler.

I appreciate these more as there’s usually more effort pout into them, and it takes me all over WOA, giving me they give me a good reason to revisit some of the levels in the process, and they generally don’t feel too phoned in.

yeah there were annoying like the blake one that was stressful

For the record the town I live in refuses to take down Christmas decorations until mid January so the advertisers just keep using Christmas adverts until then thought it was more common than it is I guess

If they can start doing Christmas in September, why not keep doing it until mid-winter?

Well, the ET Galore might help me fill in all those Missed ETs from Year 2 (and Year 1 if a few from that appear). Because I’ve completed like… none of them

Cloud 9 Pack being available today is fun, cool to see they are all related to Servers.
I like after disabling KAI all the hospital things start going haywire, I’ll see about finding a Hospital Contracts target and do the kill after disabling her.

Great that there’s a Holiday themed challenge this year for a festive sweater for 47!
Every time they show off those seasonal events in the roadmap, its always redundant for me (and many others) since we’ve always had access to it and already completed everything it had to offer…

Public Enemy coming later Nov. What did I say, Patrick? What did I say?! Patience. Pays. Off.

Even tho the ETs run till February, I still hope we get some January roadmap, since I’m really hoping that - if this is the end of new content, as it seems to be winding down again - they saved a few big pieces like the Y3 Escalation for that.

Also hope there’s a patch for Carpathian Mountains Suit Start unlock!!

I don’t know, challenges and unlocks are cool, but it feels like we were robbed of ET’s that were not released this year. I won’t really get anything from Galore, because I already did all of my ET’s previously. A bit of a letdown honestly. And since it runs to February, I don’t expect any game update until hopefully, fingers crossed, middle of February. And there was meant to be an escalation? Ugh, what’s with that?

Honestly, if update 3.710.1 was meant to be last one (which it should not be), they should have made like a thread, where they would live respond to questions about game bugs and other game improvements. It did not solve everything, and actually broke some things (like there is a guy without torso going around in Berlin, what the heck!).
