Year 3 - Winter Roadmap

Maybe they could allow us to change starting outfit on Carpathian Mountains or maybe I’m just hoping for something that won’t happen at this rate

The maintenance is probably something boring like server security patches tbh.

Presumably the ET Galore wouldn’t require them to do anything other than queue them up, since they’ve added ETs in to replace the “Coming Soon” tile countless times without maintenance having been required.

Oh please give us snow and a christmas tree in the safehouse so I can fully enjoy Grey and 47 in their new cozy sweater :pray::pray:

I’m normally against this kinda thing, but while you’re at it, put Diana in a naughty Santa’s helper elf outfit.

Or, and hear me out : 47 as Santa Claus, Diana as Mrs Claus, Victoria as their surrogate daughter, Olivia as their niece (the two are friends) all sharing gifts.

I will always maintain that the WoA not acknowledging and retooling Victoria, if just as an easter egg nod, is the largest missed opportunity of the soft-reboot.

(come on, just have her name on a gift under an eventual Christmas Tree)

And while we at it, put Grey… ah no, I leave that to my imagination  :smirk:

Sending all traces of Victoria The Human McGuffin to the memory hole is a form of censorship that this HMF-er can really get behind.

Disagree. All canon events and occurrences in the series should be acknowledged and Easter egged unambiguously. The whereabouts of all characters to have survived their respective games should be made known, including but not limited to: Father Vittorio, Mystery Man, Mei Ling, Victoria, Cosmo Faulkner, and Birdie. Put their portraits up in the safehouse.

Victoria The Human McGuffin ? Yes, absolutly.
I hate the writing of women in Absolution for a reason (either sexualized, and to be killed (Diana, the “nuns”, Layla, even in the background with the way too gleefully added “Hawaii”) or innocents, and to be used and victimized (Victoria, the actual nuns)).
It’s foul, and better buried.

But, Victoria retooled ?
As a surrogate daughter/apprentice ?
In the World of Assassination where found family is a recurrent motif ? Yes
I have made my potential ideal retool known a while back.

As an XCOM fanboy, Central Officer Bradford and I both reckon you need to man the fuck up, recruit.

The real interesting question is if any substantial Y4 additions are planned. New DLC in the form of maps or Freelancer expansions. Just imagine. If the game is still selling, maybe something like that would be viable. The brand certainly seems very popular still.

My intuition is that it’s not happening though. If there’s been no announcement by February when the ETs run out, I’ll consider WOA over for good.

Me too!! It needs to happen :christmas_tree::grin:

Yes pleassseee!

I certainly wouldn’t mind those other syndicate types that were cut becoming available, or even, lord bless it, an option to turn optional objectives off.

Would be cool if they added the non-main campaign maps to freelancer like the Garden Show or Sapienza in the evening…

Even if the maps are smaller, just to shake things up a bit

Yeah that would be really cool!!

It would be cool as well to have ‘The Drop’ version of Berlin added to Freelancer as well given its set around the Freelancer time period.

I loved revisiting Berlin for that ET, small/new changes in a map like they usually do for those is delightful.

anyone else disappointed in the public enemy suit? it feels like IOI just got lazy and slapped a fedora on the suburban suit.

they never bothered to make it look like the original, with brown driving gloves, brown shoes, and a pinstripe suit
