Around New Orleans those are called beignets. I love powdered sugar!!!
Planing a Ramen (today or tomorrow, depends what my wife wants). So to start things off I always make this great caramelized scallions. They are the star of my Ramen.
It could also be made with ginger, I guess.
But here’s the recipe: Cut a lot of scallions, process them until finely minced, add some salt and really (really!) slowly cook them in hot oil. It should just sizzle, constant stirring for about 40 minutes. It look really ugly at one or another point. But the result is heaven! Trust me. Can be kept for a couple of weeks. Although it never lasts longer than one or two days here.
Looks so good @JaM_47!
If I’ve had the thumbs up from the head chef then it must look good
It tasted as good as it looked

Chips were frozen though
We’re having chicken pesto and a salad. It’s good but nothing exquisite. The salad dressing is fantastic though. We stole the recipe from Bobby Flay
