What are you eating or cooking?

Planing a Ramen (today or tomorrow, depends what my wife wants). So to start things off I always make this great caramelized scallions. They are the star of my Ramen.

It could also be made with ginger, I guess.
But here’s the recipe: Cut a lot of scallions, process them until finely minced, add some salt and really (really!) slowly cook them in hot oil. It should just sizzle, constant stirring for about 40 minutes. It look really ugly at one or another point. But the result is heaven! Trust me. Can be kept for a couple of weeks. Although it never lasts longer than one or two days here.

Yes :joy: it has been a carb filled week, the bread is actually gluten free ciabatta and the pasta wholemeal which makes it slightly better :grinning: tomorrow is Turkey Chilli Taco’s

Chips were frozen though :pensive:

We’re having chicken pesto and a salad. It’s good but nothing exquisite. The salad dressing is fantastic though. We stole the recipe from Bobby Flay

Baked a cake for the first time in about 30 years. Lost a bet to a friend at the office, so I had to. Tried a rainbow sprinkle cake. Have no idea if it’s any good:
