You can find Fools everywhere
i’m on literally every day tho
you keep chasin’ that c47 remaster, my man.
Level design left something to be desired, but not a great deal.
Blood Money is the best in the series after WoA, and in terms of 47’s character, it’s the absolute best.
Y’all will choke on your jokes and snarky remarks, once I’ll have the Codename 47 HD Remaster Collectors Edition in my hands, that will come with this amazing Jade Figurine Replica and a handwritten apology from Hakan Abrak
barring around 3 (or maybe 4?) levels, they were basically parallel corridors (attack of the saints), random story-driven junk (the fucking tailor) or absurdly small (king of chinatown). everything was lacking in depth.
they chose insanely good graphics and an aggressively hackneyed, intrusive and simply awful plot over good level design (not that the overarching narratives for previous hitman games were anything to write home about). given - to me, at least - the heart of hitman is its level design, it was a huge issue.
agree with the former (though i flit between bm and contracts)… but watch out for @Norseman with the latter
my friend, i will be celebrating with you should that day arrive.
Me reading @Heisenberg unpopular opinions
Whadja expect? I picked as my handle and avatar a middle-aged white guy who uses his cancer as an excuse to cook crystal meth because his ego caused him to fail to exploit his white privilege to have a successful life prior to that point. Some of my opinions were bound to clash with others’.
This thread was made for you
Thanks… I think…
im sure norseman is terrified rn
The Seven Deadly Sins DLC is an actually good version of the concept in Contracts and superior in every way.
I will not be taking questions at this time.
I beg your pardon?
these days, i prefer playing absolution over blood money
i loved blood money as a kid, but it has aged pretty badly with the clunky controls and dull levels and i can’t go back to it. but absolution’s gameplay and controls feel very good. it just feels responsive to play.
Yeah right? I feel like there are too many buttons needed to play the game and it feels way clunkier than the original Trilogy. Also i hate how weightless 47 feels.
I get what you mean, but 7 deadly sins is such a wrung out trope in media that 47s dreams and insecurities would’ve been a better and more interesting theme to make escalations around IMO (they kinda touched on 47s insecurities with envy but that’s about it).
I keep hearing people talking about how great Absolution’s controls are yet I can’t get my poor laptop to run it more than 20 fps at least .
It can’t handle the power of the BLOOM engine
I can pass on SA and teh Colombia missions from C:47 but that’s going overboard. Specially 'cause you include ContractsGOD in this!
Yeah? Well, I hate how in later games 47 has the maneuverability of a tank and takes a whole second or two to simply turn around or get himself unstuck at some wall or object I bumped into. I mean, it might look more realistic and pleasant to an eye, sure… But for me, it just feels clunky.
Behold, that is my unpopular opinion.
