Things About Hitman Freedom Fighters You Just Found Out:

Like the early Hitman games, in Freedom Fighters any weapon you finish a level with is added to the rebellion’s arsenal.

All this time I thought the sniper rifle was only unlocked with the kill Tatarin mission, turns out you can get most of the cool guns unlocked pretty early

I didn’t know that. Thanks!

P.S. I can’t like anymore. Why do we have a limit?

Small thing:
The spelling of Dalia Margolis was changed between alpha and release: Dahlia to Dalia.

It seems Blood Money is the only Hitman game that didn’t reuse locations for two or more missions.

A lot of people (especially Romanians) probably knew/noticed this already, but I just found out that the German name for Brasov is Kronstadt :joy: If that was intentional, nice one IO, nice one indeed

Nah, as someone that doesn’t live there, I didn’t know this though I do know that most town names, especially old ones that existed in medieval times have foreign origins, such as Hungarian and Germanic. Brasov was actually build by Saxons, hired by Hungary . Romania had a lot of Germanic people living in the country until the communist regime came.

Speaking of old town names, my town’s name (Vaslui) is actually of Cuman origin. Doesn’t stop me from starting fights with them in KC:D though

But damn, this really is a nice find @Rimland

Haha, yeah, similar for me. I know some but not all of the old Germanic names of Czech cities (some of which can be very surprising).

Lol, indeed. Patriotism goes aside in the face of growth and prosperity. I never hesitate annexing Czechoslovakia as Germany (or anyone else for that matter) in HoI either :joy:

But yeah, I´m wondering if the whole Kronstadt thing was intentional, considering the company was initially apparently called Kronlund…

Probably IO had already mapped out the locations they wanted to have in the game and one day someone was looking for more info on one of them and he or she saw the translation and quickly ran to the others and screamed “Stop the press!” “What name do we have for our Florida targets?” “Kronlund.” “No, I have a better one!” and they all applauded. The end.

As they were applauding, someone asked “But wait, we have Kronlund mentioned in many more missions before that! How much voicework have we recorded so far?” - “Only Paris.” - “Oooph, that was a close one. But shouldn´t we re-record that one line in Paris then??” - “Of course not! Noone´s gonna notice that!

In H2, 47 actually says the line “get your lips around this” :flushed:
Context: it’s in Whittleton Creek, at the bbq, whilst blending in as the server, but still

You can make him say as Florida Man too.

Our boy understands flirting as an abstract concept but when he gets it right he gets it right lol
