Its just IO rubbing salt into my wounds

Howard Moxon’s portrait is flipped; he should have a pin with French flag, but on his portrait it appears as completely different flag:

Correct version:

As it appears in game (thanks Euler13):

I’m pretty sure that smuggling in a weapon gives it more ammo than bringing it with you in a briefcase, I was playing the Colorado Kill Everyone Contract, and I swapped a sniper rifle with a silenced assault rifle and I pretty quickly realized I could kill less shotgun guys with the sniper than before (the entire reason I brought the sniper btw)
I’m not 100% sure honestly tho.

Hitman 2 Silent Assassin has a move I never used, which is explained in the Gontranno tutorial (which I went through a grand total of once, if that, before restarting the game yesterday). The leaning I knew but 47 can also sidestep from behind a wall in order to, say, surprise unsuspecting NpCs with a shotgun.

Pretty useless move when going for SA, but it’s cool. And 47 looks downright scary when doing it.

Is there an image of what it should look like?

WOW!! I didn’t even notice this! :open_mouth:

Thanks for sharing.

Technically it’s the second, as the full version of the barcode has been present in the graphics options tab of the menu for many years by now, as part of the gamma correction slider.

Until that statue from The Splitter Pack came out, the settings menu was, if I’m not mistaken, the only time the full barcode with numbers was ever referenced in WoA, following their decision to make 47 “timeless” for this era of Hitman by omitting the numbers everywhere else…

There’s also this Marrakesh easter egg which is sorta related. An in-game brand logo was made using Codename 47’s OG rendition of the barcode, which did notably include the numbers below the barcode, just as mere blurry pixels…

So the full barcode has now shown up twice in WoA. And if you count that easter egg above, then that’s three times

I just found out that I presumably will stay locked from 100% completion in Sgail because of this dufus and because of IOI isn’t removing him completely from the game.
I’m of course glad for those who were in time to eliminate him in his second appearance and bought his DLC, but what should people who didn’t do all this do now?
@Combatglue maybe you’ll comment on and/or sort out this misconception?

Better hope that there won’t be a challenge requiring you to have all maps 100% unlocked.

Reminds me of H1 when the ET challenges once counted towards a location’s completion. Eventually they removed it because people complained because they couldn’t otherwise get to 100% due to missing an ET, failing or not getting SA on one.

I have hope they’ll do the same with this case.
Maybe they’re dealing with legal questions or waiting next patch to do this, but to leave it like this will be total madness

It took me until today to actually check what happens if you sabotage all of the test pods in Chongqing’s Block. It’s a simple mini mission story that made Hush go down to the lab using the other staircase and walk past like 3 different electrocution opportunities.

When my Steam Deck first arrived and I was trying out WoA on it, I realised that career tab has a section with xp breakdown for all locations. This also included XP from the basic actions like knockouts or eliminations. What I found neat was that it nicely aligns with how much I like certain maps, with locations like Sapienza or Berlin having a lot more accumulated XP.

I lost my briefcase at some point in Miami and when I tried to find it on the map I couldn’t see it until I scrolled out a bit. How the heck did my brief case get there??

There’s only two guesses I can really think of:

  1. It’s somehow ended up on a racecar and got pulled along the track for some of the way.
  2. An explosive got detonated near it and it got flung.

Strange!!!

Third possibility: an NPC picked it up and just started walking in one direction and thanks to a bug they kept walking right off the map. I’ve seen that happen both in Miami and to the realtor guy in Whittleton Creek.

Could also have been thrown and then just pinged off of something thanks to the physics janking out. Many times I’ve tried to distract someone only to have my briefcase launched into the stratosphere.

I think I saw NPC models in that area with freecam. Maybe one NPC had it when they teleported there.

This seems most likely to me. The briefcase was stationary there so it wasn’t like someone was walking off the map with it. I don’t have much knowledge with freecams and trainers but I seem to recall seeing a video about NPCs being stored OOB in Miami and some other maps.

I’m pretty sure Knox and Moses Lee start off the map and teleport in after the race. But what NPC would teleport off the map in Miami?

I’ve seen NPCs walking off the map, straight up running even, but I’ve never seen an NPC walk off with a briefcase. Have you?

Well, they are programmed to pick it up and take it to the nearest guard. Not a stretch tool imagine that they picked it up, then their programming got fucked and they just kept walking.

Right those two are somewhere else waiting for their cars to get into the pit stop for exit.

But I don’t remember what the other NPCs were about. I think I never really looked into them as I surely would at least know who they are.
