Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

Nah, I also only learned about it while I was doing that Codename 47 challenge

I didn’t even pick up on that either :joy:

Okay so I was just wondering if MOOD (those have worked on some concept work for IOI specifically hitman) still had a page for their work on hitman. And indeed they do, because they have added new concept art which I haven’t seen before or haven’t seen in a good quality/high resolution. Here are a few:

Also this is a new version of one from hokkaido which just looks darker and more in the night:

Here is the old version:

Its so awesome when concept art show up on the internet - It almost feels like getting small gifts every now and then throughout the years

Only just realised that you can technically carry two propane tanks at once by picking one up and then shoving it in a briefcase before picking up the second one.

Never ever thought to see if you can put propane into a briefcase before until playing one of the new FCs today. Good to know.

From the Sapienza Hippie Apartment one :

oh god goes into flashback

Proceed to stare into the distance as the word jam echoes

Update :

Damned, it’s actually in the game.
Even on Sapienza, I still discover new things.
(game artist and designer will always have my full respect. It’s easy to forget that by essence, they need to create everything from nothing, including what we will gloss over. Special mention to ceilings.)

47 seems to have a suscription to a magazine for assassins and uses it as reference to cull the competition, apparently.

Can be found in the first cosmetic option for the dining hall at the safehouse.

Yeah. “Thought your identity was hidden - Think again” basically confirms Safehouse tower defense mode! Hordes of assassins out to get 47! Hype!

I’m pretty sure all it confirms is that the world of Hitman is even whackier than we thought.

I don’t know if I have already showed this, but the instructions how to build the submarine in Ricos cave are in german.

Sadly it isn’t all that wacky, there actually is a pretty big publication dedicated to hired killers, mercs and actual soldiers for dictatorial regimes, it is called Soldier of Fortune. Somehow it is still in active publication, here is a podcast on the founding and survival of American’s number one “adventurer” magazine.

Rico simply wishes to learn from the best.

I know it’s off topic. but I have to recommend the same podcast, on the same subject but with David X Cohen (Futurama, Simpsons).

(I guess Robert Evans was blind-sided and had to reuse the script)

I actually just recommend the podcast in general.

Yeah that was also pretty great.

Honestly, I was expecting you to name Guns & Ammo magazine. Really seemed like you were setting that up.

Guns and Ammo isn’t so much dedicated to the people who use guns it is as far as I can tell, for all intents and purposes, a legit magazine about guns. The closest they get to supporting terrorists is their association with the NRA. Zing!

Fun Fact: Both Guns and Ammo and Arsenal F.C. are owned by the same company, I guess they must really like Gunners.

We didn’t stop the Germans from making submarines at an internationally recognised legislative level for a reason. I mean he could have elected to go with the French instead and that would have been a catastrophe.

I guess as long as they don’t build the submarine everyone is fine.

Apparently the guy who published that magazine also published a book about how to become a successful hitman. We’ve come full circle :x
