Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

Later on, yes, after an investigation. But in the moment, surrounded by laymen who don’t know anything about Molotov or accidents in general, it’s gonna be thought of as an accident by the locals and nobody will be looking for a potential murderer until long after 47 leaves. This is the case with most accidents, especially if you’re KOing people across the map and stuffing them in containers. That’s part of why I developed the HPP.

True, although at least they have to be set up.

err… sorry? Since when was the Molotov cocktail a reskin? It’s a new and unique item.

Fair point, I just disagree with items being overpowered and ruining the balance of the game

Yeah that is true. Well maybe not in real life, I think most people would recognise something’s up when there’s glass everywhere…
But in a videogame with NPCs like Hitman has.
Yeah it checks out!
Now what is the HPP?

I mean the idea of removing the accident part is saying it should be made into a reskin of every other bomb item

Good point.

Again, I completely disagree. Which other ‘bomb’ has flames that can burn the target in a fire?
I see where you’re coming from though, the Molotov is special with it’s accident opportunities, and it wouldn’t be on the same level without that.
Sheesh, who would’ve thought that there’d be so much controversy over an item I was looking forward to! I think I’ve been spending too much time in the Forum, need to do what Piombo does at this point to cool down.

Yeah, I think they mean that, whether it causes a fire or an explosion, if you remove the accident aspect from the Molotov, you’re really just throwing another bomb.

Ambrose Island

In the cave where the control unit is, there is a vial of nitroglycerin on the ground near where the guard drinks from his bottle of water. Comes in handy if you want to destroy the control unit in a hurry.

Noticed a scripted NPC thing in Ambrose Island:

Explanation (with pictures!)

On a dock next to the Longtail/Cove Boat Exit, stands Indukala Dani, nervously waiting and looking for someone.

In the southeast of the Village is a sleeping Nirmal Lad, with a clock radio nearby. Similar to the Made To Order challenge. So I turned it on.

There isn’t any unique dialogue or anything, but Nirmal takes off running to the dock to meet with Indukala. They hug and sit on the dock together.

That said, I had to see what happened if Indukala wasn’t there meet Nirmal. Not much, but Nirmal instead does the nervous waiting for someone who will never appear.

I don’t know if anything happens if you wait around after either of these outcomes, but this could be a neat setup for Contracts Mode.

It did make me wonder if that NPC who goes to smoke by the brazier and Threepwood tombstone has a scripted situation like this, considering how out of place she is.

Thats still a reskin

Urgh I’m so jealous of that Black Neon City Suit. Wish we had that on PS4.

I did indeed make a contract with him, I’ll get round to posting it at some point. It’s a pretty cool feature that doesn’t confine the oversleeping to one npc!

Right and there is more -
You can Dump / Drop using a screwdriver - to take out the servers.

When using cannon, and trying to set it of with for example breaching charge, this only works after initial loading of a cannon. If game is saved at that point, and then save file loaded, cannon will not shoot with breaching charge.

Ambrose Island - There is a cook at the place where Crest’s food is poisoned -
he watches over the cctv footage of Sapienza Kitchen - probably learning the recipes or monitoring them

I’ve seen this footage in another map as well, can’t remember where at the moment…
