Things About Hitman You Just Found Out

Nah, I knew that the Master difficulty used to change stuff around the maps. I just needed your term “difficulty bricks” to be clarified. Well anyway, now I know that there isn’t any changes (i.e. moved items. additional npcs) on H3 maps on Master. The differences are merely suspicion bar fills faster. Thanks for your explanation, then. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Brick is the term IO uses for… basically map files. A file that contains information on anything within a map. Smaller bricks (difficulty changes, escalation changes, ETs) can be slapped onto bigger bricks (the actual map)

You probably meant take a picture, but if not – no, there’s no way to “scan” it.

Edit: So I don’t know if this is what you were trying to do and that’d be the reason why the EE exit wasn’t working. :man_shrugging: /technicalities

Wait, it’s @Firepower! Another HMF reference alongside Rocco, Urben and Chaos Agent :stuck_out_tongue:

This was my biggest disappointment with 3. I remember having to change my strategy on almost every mission when moving from Professional to Master on Hitman 2. With 3, every single strat on Professional worked on Master. I still remember how utterly disappointed I was about this when the game first came out. I hardly play on Master now because it makes f all difference.

Maybe already known, but I just decided to try and it worked: car battery sparks can detonate leaked propane flask

The ones I remember well are the Paris invitation which is freely sitting in the downstairs bathroom disappears. I always thought that should have never been there anyway and the rat poison moves from the corner of most kitchens to being on the cook (this one I always found odd).

Just went to make a contract and realised that the end screen doesn’t let you switch it to “Pistol” if you’ve done a “Pistol Elimination”. Even though in game when you have “Pistol” selected both count -_-

Good thing I don’t let the end screen stop me

This graffiti in one of the underground passageways in Miami is completely new to me:

Yates will ignore any bodies during his confrontation with Diana.

And if you manage to lock and throw a blunt object at him after Diana stabs him (in this case a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon), he will instantly die.

Also, creepy bug. Sometimes even after Yates is killed, mercenaries will still go to the rooms, ignoring you even if you’re armed/trespassing, and fire their guns in the middle of the room and Diana will drop dead, even if she is already at the dance floor.

And if you’re already mid-dance with her, the cutscene ends prematurely and her face glitches out. Terrifying.

EDIT: The backup guards have severely delayed reactions too.

EDIT 2: Also, in the meeting, Diana isn’t given a glass and Vidal’s glass isn’t filled.

I just found out that the Malbec serving opportunity for the Iconoclast was indeed bugged (or the ET design was changed) and that you can now properly serve her.

Also works with poison for a silent assassin elimination.

Glad to see this kind of care for the Elusive Targets, I would guess in preparation for the Elusive Target Arcade.

I believe it means we will have to keep an eye out for The Procurers in January, since their meetings had a bugged trigger resulting in a routine break/lock.

I’ll be curious if when the Sensation comes back if he will continue to drink or if that was intentional to force players to do something different.

It would’ve been great also if those who failed them due this bug would have an opportunity to play them again. It’s been a report of this bug fixed few months ago, so I guess no more this kind of accidents should happen. Though I don’t know if this is related or this particular thing is that same bug but if you shoot a propane flask which is near the stolve in the kitchen, it will automatically explode in a couple of seconds

That was almost definitely a troll from IOI. If you watch videos of people playing it (I watched OutsideXbox in this case), The Sensation would literally drop everything, no matter where he was in the route or what conversation he was in the middle of, and go to that drink when the player got within a certain proximity to him.

Andy, Mike and Jane eventually outsmarted the trigger through a combination of their collective brainpower, copious amounts of restarts and sheer force of will but it’s supposed to work that way. As a member of #TeamNoRestarts, I actually love it because it’s a cheeky little thing that tries to hinder endlessly restarting for that perfect score/run (if only for a little while).

Although, depending on how Elusive Target Arcade actually works, it might be a moot point now anyway. Whether IOI leave it in or alter it is anyone’s guess at this point…

I can’t get the video to play. Did they hop over the wall ? That’s how I did it and I was quite pleased with myself once I figured it out.

Edit: now it’s playing. Yep, wall hop.

I was going to say that it was working for me (BUT it was the first time I’ve tried posting a link like that so who knows?)

Anyway, like I said if replay-ability in elusive targets is soon to be a thing with the arcade then it kind of defeats the purpose of programming him like that. But, again, who knows if they’ll change it.

If it was intentional then I hope they leave it. If it was a bug then I hope they fix it.
