I do bring the Collector Coin just because the normal version won’t show up but I do want that elusive coin because they are useful tools for distractions.

The fact that the Coin™️ is in the tool case makes me think its not some easter egg or secret, its just not in the files.
If there were some super specific way to acquire it, why bother since it’ll be lost on a campaign completion anyway

Description says “Find or Purchase”. I can understand if it’s so well hidden that no one has managed to find it yet. But NO ONE has been able to purchase it yet… so that makes me think (like you and others have said) it’s not in the game. Probably an oversight.

I found mendoza to be a good showdown location for all of these, the waiter outfit is really easily accessible at multiple points, you can craft poison in the orchard shed for natural selection, and suspects are more likely to be foodies and dehydrated.
