Hmm. I’ve been seriously trying to keep up on my dream journaling after waking up. Haven’t done that in a long long time. I (re)started about a week ago, but I’ve been slacking off the last few days (going to bed when I’m too tired makes it harder to recall them). Maybe I can get back into Lucid Dreaming if I keep it up!
I am listening to some early 2000 songs.
Two of my favourite songs - music videos which was directed perfectly considering the tech at that time.
Marriages only existed for a brief time and released a single album and one EP, but they were very good. Everyone in this band went on to do amazing things outside of it too.
Emma Ruth Rundle on Guitar / Vox - Became (in my opinion) one of the best songwriters of her generation as a solo artist.
Andrew Clinco on Drums - formed Drab Majesty.
Greg Burns on Bass - Played in Red Sparrowes.
Pretty much everything they’ve made is S tier.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, makes me happier than an artist just doing whatever they want and completely shitting on their fans’ expectations. I actually hadn’t heard of Ethel Cain before this and have no idea what her first album sounds like. All I know is that 90% of people will hate this, but as a weirdo who loves drone and noise I am fully on board.
