While nothing showed up in Red after pressing Crtl+Shift+I, there was a red x (which must be what you were referring to). Clicking on that opened this, which gave me…

Could you send your config.json file?
{runtimePath:'..\\Runtime',skipIntro:true,outputToSeparateDirectory:false,loadOrder:['Emetic Gas Device - Bug Fix','Atampy26.Focus','Atampy26.NPCsWakeUp'],modOptions:{'Atampy26.NPCsWakeUp':['Time until NPCs wake up after being pacified:4-6 minutes'],'Atampy26.RealisticAI':['Edition:Normal']},outputConfigToAppDataOnDeploy:true}
What is Emetic Gas Device - Bug Fix
?
That was what I renamed a folder. It should’ve been / was in my recycle bin. It was for this…
With the issues I’ve been having I’ve been deleting stuff, restoring and retrying, still failing… A pretty vicious cycle.

If it’s not currently in the Mods folder then you’ll need to remove it from config.json.

Alright! I now recall it says ‘Staging Mods…’ and it took less than 30 seconds this time.
I started the game, only noticed one skip in sound. Thought I’d try Sapienza. The game (again) crashed – this time while loading the mission. Tried again with the internet disconnected… Same outcome.
When Offline: The main menu is showing the (mod) for All Season 1 ETs. But that’s another mod I should have deleted.
And/or it could have something to do with - when I placed and overwritten some files in HITMAN 3 > Runtime.
I’d think that if some of the (true) files for H3 were wrong(?) or missing, that verifying the files would download the correct ones. But I don’t know…
I’m not sure what I should do. Try to restore deleted files, or delete the SMF folder and download “everything” anew. Well (not EVERYTHING), I think I’m going to try to stick to the 2 simple mods of Focus and NPC Wake-up.
Verifying Files doesn’t delete extra files. Anything in your Runtime folder that is above chunkxpatch2 is a mod and should be deleted if you want to be sure Framework stuff will work at this stage
I believe everything is squared away and working fine now. Not wanting to bug anyone over specifics and/or getting myself into a deeper hole - I ultimately deleted my runtime folder… And Epic took a day to redownload whatever (I also lost my internet for several hours for some strange reason).
In hindsight, I’m thinking I messed something up when I was trying to “install” the Sarajevo 6 Mod, when I manually placed and overwritten things in the runtime folder. This time I let SMF handle things instead of whatever I did before and didn’t know what I was doing.
Eventually, there are a couple things I’d like to mod. One should be easy (a disguise recolor, and selectable as a ‘suit’), while the other may need a new/different model and retexturing for an item in game.
Edit: Should I learn to do this? Or pass on the idea to someone else that’s done this thing before?

Version 1.2.0
Fixes
- Absolute Runtime paths work again
- Files are now properly identified as RPKG-only mods or Framework mods
- Updates for mods and the framework itself are much more consistent
- Non-existent mods are automatically removed from the load order by the GUI
- TEXD textures work properly
Features
- Mods can specify supported platforms using
supportedPlatforms
- available platforms are steam
and epic
- Deploy times have been made significantly faster
EDIT: If you experience issues updating, please redownload the framework from Nexus Mods or GitHub.

Just a little suggestion. Can you add an “About” option here that will show you the current installed version?

1.3.0 will have a version indicator somewhere.

Where exactly can I set this?
Do I understand right, that this parameter supports both platforms at the same time?
UPD: wait, this is for modders only, not for mod users? Shame
Can you implement the same for the users?
I mean if I have the game on both platforms, I would like to use same mods everywhere.
And as I understand, at this point I need to have two instances of Framework to get this work.
Is it even possible to use one single instance but have mods working for both platforms simultaneously?
@Atampy26
Leaving this here for your reference. A mod will load but won’t enable if you use an apostrophe in the mod name.

That’s odd. Will investigate.
EDIT: Should be fixed in the next version.

Good to know, thanks.
Btw just a tip, you should click on Reply under the person’s comment you’re replying to. That way they get a notification. Otherwise they won’t get to know you replied until they revisit the thread again on their own.
You must have gotten a notification for this comment.
Oh interesting, I assumed the reply button on the right just replied to the last message. Will use the post reply button instead then in future.
(I get notifications for everything here though so you don’t necessarily need to reply to me)
Oh yeah, the original poster gets notification for all the comments unless you choose to mute them.
Should probably install it in the Hitman 3 folder instead of the Retail folder
