Okay so I just released a special video on my YouTube channel MCFPapa, the first time I’ve publicly uploaded a Hitman-related video on it. It’s a sort of “developer commentary” on my two challenges Forged in Fire and The Great Thief, giving my reasons for making them, my thoughts on them as challenges, my feelings on my ideas being added to the game, and other ramblings.
I mainly made it to tell my massive 386-subscriber base about Hitman WoA and encourage them to get the game. I think you guys would enjoy it too, in case you wanted to learn more about the challenges, wanted to know what my voice sounds like, and/or wanted to hear someone pronounce “brazier” like “brassiere” a bunch of times.

Probably a not so controversial opinion, but I think I’m done with these Elusive Target Reactivations… I just thing killing these targets for the fourth year straight finally got to me and I don’t have that urgency anymore to do them given I have the Elusive Target awards.

Combatglue has recently passed on feedback from me about this and is looking into it internally to see if they can switch up the lineup for part of 2024 (the in-game data reveals that the plan is to use the same line up as Y2 and Y3).
Given that next week is the first time they’re doing dual activations (outside of mass reactivations end-of-year like the ET Galore) - I wouldn’t be opposed to them continuing to copy the Y3 order, but pairing each one up with a second ET that we haven’t seen since “Y1” or at all within H3/WoA.
At least that way Y4 would be the year that you could play every single one (excluding The Wildcard and perhaps The Drop).
Tagging @Combatglue since I actually think I prefer this new idea over just changing the lineup.

They are not part of this roadmap, and are certainly transitionnary before the next (CelebrET?) roadmap.
Two Elusive Targets are getting activated today,
They are The Stowaway (Isle of Sgail) and The Gunrunner (Marrakesh)
I believe this is the first time this happens.
So, be careful and don’t forget one. Especially since the Live tab is not made to show both of them, not even with the usual slideshow.

they said on their website for the Roadmap that they would bring back 25 elusive targets, even without showing more on the roadmap.

I think Peacock meant less “Elusive Target will continue to happen”, and more “the ETs visible in the career tab have now all been released, leaving an open space begging to be filled with the celebrET at its announcement, which must be soon since nothing else is scheduled”.
