oh shit. that’s sad. blood meridian is one of the best things i’ve read.
john rowan has died. he was the drummer on the famous pulp fiction song. RIP
who is that sir???
I watched something on youtube just the other day and the guy was talking about the Espionage Act (in regards to someone)… Anyway, there was mention of some names that made me think of NPCs in Paris. Like that guy whose mother tells him “Look Daniel she’s nice!”
After looking for him for six months, it’s not unexpected, but still sad.
gutted. he did such a good job as yossarian.
noooooooooooo he was so fucking good
What a shame.
I saw him live on more than one occasion!
That was always on my wish list. Never got a chance.
On top of his marvellous career he fought in Europe during the 2nd world war; he was a solider decorated with a bronze star.
According to the obit in the Times he was part of the troops who arrived to liberate the prisoners at the Landsberg concentration camp.
Yea Mano, the 63rd Infantry division wasn’t light duty. It was the real deal.
Another loss:
Randy Meisner didn’t shine as bright as Glenn + Don, but he sure struck gold with “Take it to the Limit.”
He was 77 when he passed 2 days ago.
