I realised I had inadvertently given ‘Welcome to Hope’ a point thinking it was ‘Streets of Hope’ (first part of Shaving Lenny). Upon discovering it’s actually that glorified cutscene barfight level, I’ve given it -2.

Opinion: End of the Road concept of a “toy with a target with no obstacle” is great. Execution is meh though. The first half of Nightcall in WoA, and all you can prepare in is a good showcase of a direction it can flourish in.
- Hunter and Hunted is detestable just for the “use the corpse of murdered sex worker to create a noise distraction”.
- Sniper Challenge is still is the best. And a great addition to the franchise.
I also realise I never went in the Absolution category, first time I see this forum background.

This is one of the things I really enjoy about Nightcall (along with the night setting & little touches like the blinds you can close). There’s something really cool about entering an empty location and being able to prepare before the target arrives.
This was a feature in various levels from previous games (i.e., ‘House of Cards’ in Blood Money). I’d be keen to see at least a couple of levels like this in a future Hitman game. And indeed, a mix of huge locations (Sapienza, Mumbai) with smaller scale, finely crafted places such as the Bank/Hawke’s Bay.
Anyway, don’t want to derail the game so that’s enough level analysis waffle!
