in the afternoon AYSyw

The Faux Pas are out now. The theme of them is they all have to die in accidents.

And before anyone thinks of cheesing Toby Jones Terrance with the discoball…

This ET is literally based around accident kills, so this’ll be a fun one =D

When I see the Hitman Live Team now curating the ETA.
Looking at all the way the can force a genuinely interesting and novel run of the targets.
Killing the easy strats.

Also : accident only !

I remember when the ETA started, this was exactly the return I gave : limitation by elimination type. I’m quite happy by it.

Normally, I would complain about this restriction, but I must admit this ET was ridiculous with that disco ball, and also he’s still not a complex one, so limiting the starting point on it it’s not a big deal.

Did the other two targets get a similar resriction?

The Faux Pas is still very easy even with the “accidents only” complication because drownings count as accidents. At least with the Procurers I finally used the emetic syringe which I think I’ve only used once before outside of the Deluxe escalation in Mendoza.

They have the restrictions placed on for their ET runs, but none specific for ETA.

He absolutely is.

He has three separate loops; one that patrols the main floor of the club, another that goes down to the bridge filled with lights and a third one where, if you get rid of his entourage, he just chills in the juice bar forever.

Not only that, but he deliberately sets himself up for accident kills on all his routes, so I fail to see how he’s not very complex when his routine suggests otherwise. There was a lot of effort put into this one.

The reason they added the starting restriction was very obviously to stop people using the disco ball exploit and let people explore. You can still do it, but as intended (I.E, from the bar area, not behind it).

Still very basic IMO. His route it’s not even that great, the accident opportunities still obvious, he’s too easy to approach him, even if escorted by two Npc.

The only good thing about him is at last he’s moving. Still better than the Gunrunner, Chameleon and Food Critic, I give that to him.

I agree here.

That is the entire point, in case the briefing didn’t tip you off. The theme of this ET is to pay karmic justice to him via an accident kill. I suspect someone at IOI won/ lost a bet and tried to add as many accident kills as you can into a single ET. That’s not a bad thing.

The Gunrunner is fine? It doesn’t make any sense for him to move about very much. He’s an arms dealer, he’s gonna stick to his guns, quite literally. Context matters.

The Chameleon is an ET I dislike. While he does move around a bit, he never leaves the house to say, take a stroll to clear his head. Acting is hard, y’know?

The Food Critic is deliberately set up to be a puzzle. The idea being that you get him eat a poisoned cake downstairs…eventually. Still, I can’t blame people for hating his gameplay because he does take his sweet-ass time.

Yes, it’s the only way to make this target a bit interesting. I just have a couple of accidents on mind that I’m sure would work.

Unfortunately, most ET from 2016 were very limiting about routes and opportunities: I don’t want them to being obviously on theyr routine (example, walking near on puddles or smoking in front of gas canister), but these were basically stationary Npc guarded by several guards and Npc, nothing more. H3 ETs were a definetly improvement IMO.

Ok. Seriously, Sieger Ruby is actually pretty neat.

Function wise. Has the 4x scope of Sieger Ghost but the power of the normal one or even that one of the base Jaeger 7 and also it’s subsonic as the Jaeger Covert. If you ask me, this rifle is perfect to manipulate the enviroment and cause fall accident kills in places like Sapienza’s beach. Not bad as an unlock. Also won’t cause targets to fly off with too much ragdoll so that also helps a lot to avoid bodies being found because they flew too far away for the gunshot.

EDIT: FOrget it. Already tried various ranges and kills NPCs in one shot. What a waste. At least the ragdoll it cause remains relatively tame so no problem with headshots or bodyshots.

I’m getting tired of only sniper rifles with one-shot kill capabilities. Need something with the versatility of fucntions of the Ghost but that can be more focused in avoiding collateral damage, causing distractions and accidents.

Yeah, the kind of sniper rifles that don’t kill in one shot, but also have good force to push their ragdoll far enough are great.

It means you can cause an NPC to tumble over a railing or into a body of water for a free accident kill. Love doing those.

Kinda counter-productive to want a rifle that kills but not in one shot, but whatevs.

I prefer my sniper rifles to share a common quality with Eminem and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine: you only got one shot.

I like the idea of some low-caliber rifles. The perfect one was the Bartoli Woodsman ICA but now it’s a powerouse too.

That’s what everyone gets for complaining about not getting the campfire entrance for this ET.

Well then, IOI completely missed the mark on responding to those complaints.
