Evened the odds between a fantastic mission and death in the family
Second worst? I guess BM is your worst then. I get you dont like it. And thats perfectly fine. But what is it with this game you dont like?
I know it has a reputation of being the most mainstream one and that in itself makes it somewhat uncool. And that the kids who are not deep into the series always bring it up as the high point. Its a bit like the pop genre of games, its for the masses. I get that.
Still i find it has lots of great missions, as do all the entries to the series. Some more, some less of course.
Still wondering if you can pinpoint what it is with this game for you. Its also cool if thats just the way it is.

Same, Iām all for preserving some actually great missions from the legacy games (Contracts is still my absolute favourite) but letās not pretend that Graveyard Shift or whatever is better than for example the Showstopper.
Still though, itās fun to battle it out with the āother teamā

Iām not Anti-Ochoa. That would be silly. Iām defending superior missions over nostalgia.
I came here to downvote Mumbai and protect Absolutionā¦ And Iām all out of Mumbai
Ok, it seems āAnti-Ochoaā has been making some misinterpretations. Letās call it āTeam_Who_donāt_Agree_With_Ochoa_Opinionsā.
Yeah its all fun and games. Im not against anybody here. No hard feelings towards anybody. I hope you all see it like that too.
If the new Stuff is allegedly better than the old, where has it been all the time then, huh?
I remember the time before they invented ānostalgiaā, oh boy, those were great timesā¦
Not totallyā¦ I acknowledge that my downvote on SHTMLF results from the big lobby against ANL on previous round . But after reflection, looking back to C47 missions, I prefer the Honk Kong or ToftT missions over SHTMLF. I prefer the idea of a cold assassin blended in crowd, silently and acting in a ānormal worldā than a bald guy lost in the jungle and going through a drug camp (thatās why Colorado in new game is still my least favorite). Thatās the reason why I prefer A New Life over some old missions.
Moreover, I replayed recently Hitman Contracts. I love some of the missions (not all), but the stiff gameplay and the old control mechanics prevent me from enjoying the game as much as it deserves.
The last Hitman entries offer much choices to achieve a mission and the fluid gameplay have my favors.
Itās just that after playing the āoldā missions and the ānewā ones, there is a difference that appears. āOldā missions are good in terms of story, but to be honest, I rather prefer gameplay and replayability over story or atmosphere. Thatās my opinion.
My following votes will be based mainly on the amount of times I play a mission. And at the end, I play much more Hitman 2016/2/3 missions compared to old entries (even BM and Absolution).
In conclusion, thatās just a game and the winning mission will be the one that pleases the most of us.
Itās fun to turn this game into a competition, but calling it an anti-movement is kinda childish and something I donāt like to be associated with. This is not a cockfight nor a serious thing to prove yourself. Itās a game. Lets keep it that way.
And yes, I was part of the pro-ANL movement ONLY because I agreed it didnāt deserve the shit it got. No way in hell do I participate in toxic downvote parties to annoy other members. Thats no fun.

I loved Blood Money when it came out, i still do. Its just the weakest title in a Series of great Games, thats all.
Iām tired of the many, many people who want to convince me that it is this Holy Grail, and its not just fans, its the developers too. Look at the WoA Trilogy for example, almost every reference or callback to the old Games are from Blood Money.
Almost all Missions are set within the USA, the missions dont have the unique Loadingscreens anymore just shitty renders of the Targets, most of the Missions are pretty boring and have basically no connection to the actual plot and the game feels clunky AF.
The last point seems pretty rich, coming from a Guy who loves Codename 47, right? But just think of hiding a Body in BM, you need to pick up the body, open the Dumpster, put the body in, close the Dumpster. In Absolution, the same procedure is one button.
In the end i think it comes mostly down to simple personal preferences, but itās also a lot of fun to go online and post that Absolution > BM
I agree with you. I actually vote based on replayability. Of course I played BM a few times, but there are a lot of missions that just werenāt fun. I had more fun with Absolution. There I said it. And as stated before: I actually donāt really care about the story. Maybe thatās why I donāt rate C47 that high, as I just canāt play those levels again without destroying my mouse or keyboard out of frustration because of the mechanics/controls.
When I first played C47 I loved it. But it never occurred to me to to play it again after a year or so. Tried it again last month just to see what a lot of people here love about it. But it didnāt click with me.
