I voted for «Location» even though it’s a mix of both for me. The Vector is a great example for this as it’s not that great location-wise but a really fun sniper level (way better than the special sniper maps) – and I just love sniping.
The atmosphere and design of a level is the most important thing for me. HBOS is one of my favorite levels but has (at least one: Kong) very boring target. In the end there are a lot of great killing opportunities for almost every target – so that’s not important anymore for me.

A Gilded Cage isn’t that bad but it sure as hell doesn’t deserve to be 2nd best or higher than the Showstopper. It is pointless to state its many faults mainly because it has been done thousands of times since it came out.

Also, I triple checked my numbers this time to avoid a repeat of the ‘Source’ situation yesterday.

Honestly, I’m shocked both training missions are still in play. While neither are offensively bad (probably in part due to the fact they contain so little with which to offend) they’re still not comparable to even some of the more imperfect ‘proper’ missions imo

Both one target with extremely limited routes. Both of whom are fairly bland but were retroactively made more interesting. Both fairly small maps with a charming yet bland look. A decent number of disguises, but not setting any records.

They serve their purpose well enough. But really how many times have you replayed either?

While I have no problem saying/agreeing that The Showstopper is objectively a better mission, this isn´t about which mission is better than the other, but rather which missions deserve to make it to the QF. So unless you think AGC doesn´t deserve to qualify, those minus points would be better spent elsewhere (at least until both missions are sure to make it to the next round) :wink:

I remembered when I got to The Final Test. I really thought this was some sort of test for the player so I prepared myself in freeform training for some time.

After that I couldn’t figure out how to go inside the compound. I went inside the booth near the entrance and tried to subdue the guard there but was always spotted by Luca, so I thought I had to subdue him first and then vice versa. I ended up jumping over the fence and hearing the opportunity after some time. This was before I knew anything about Hitman apart from the horrible movie poster from 2015. Good times.

Oh come on,it is very obvious that the Final Test is a fan favourite map and the big number of ​contrcats with Luca Wood prove that.:stuck_out_tongue:

But don’t worry.There are still enough missions to eliminate until we get to only 8.:slightly_smiling_face:

Right, screw The Vector; it’s better than Sniper Assassin maps, but the whole fire-hit delay bugs me too much when that’s not how it works in the main game. I get it’s more realistic, but it’s too frustrating when they’re legging it and you’re trying to track them to get a good shot
