So I’ve been having fun sifting through the early games localization files and came across even more cut Requiem content that I haven’t seen anyone else mention.
From the first image, I would guess that the level’s original setup was meant to start you off somewhere isolated judging by 47’s mumbling to himself, probably the basement of the church where the cremator is.
There’s also mention of a ‘car kill’ and it looks like you could also impersonate Cayne’s driver and kill him in his limo.
Here are the cut objectives for the level, including background info on Cayne that isn’t available anywhere else, a cut objective to retrieve the tape recorder as well as a different exit point - the aforementioned limo
Sadly couldn’t find anything pertaining to the actual location of the mission but there is a mention of Sicily on a list of level locations. Probably meant to be the Hideout as M13 - Requiem doesn’t have a location.
