I transferred progress from H2 and some challenges associated with Mission Stories are marked as uncompleted. I knew Mission Story completion per se would not carry over, but shouldn’t the challenges? Anyone else experiencing this? Not a big problem, I’m just curious.
I had this happen last year when I did the carryover. Random challenges here and there didn’t carryover properly, but they unlocked fine when redoing them.
Holy shit, I was wondering why the author of the stickied posts was showing as [Deleted], because why the hell would a mod delete their account. This is terrible.
Since the mission stories are reset, so are their challenges. It was like this for everyone. All escalations will be reset too. Rest all will carryover as it is.
The funny thing is that some Mission Story challenges actually did carry over. In Paris, e.g., im just missing the Bare Knuckle Boxer and interview challenges, the rest are marked as completed.
Well at least it’s finally going down, i don’t think the queue was working at all before.
Yeah, it was hovering above 60k for at least the first three hours I tried, but then it’s been steadily decreasing ever since. At 16k now, might be able to log in before I go to bed
This even happened in the “Trilogy” version on Stadia when H3 launched. Expected behaviour, not a bug. Good reason to replay the campaigns
Just checked Reddit and it’s still locked. I must admit some of the posts/comments on there were not a nice read and completely unnecessary.
Everyone’s entitled to an opinion but it needs to be put across in a respectable manor.
Hmmm. Didn’t they say that the trilogy release was supposed to demystify the mess of all the different editions, instead I am seeing reactions online that it got even more confusing…
Should have bundled everything together as a complete edition to not make people avoid the hassle of choosing which version to buy.
The price of Steam game seems fixed for me, but still for some reason it’s more expensive than I bought it on Epic on the day one…
Weird
The launch was so bad that the game didn’t even manage to reach Hitman 2’s own yesterday’s peak!
As for the free package , it’s so badly advertised it still hasn’t reached 100 concurrent players
Yeah, they kinda shot themselves in the foot to no advertise the Steam release a bit more. I guess most people don’t even know it got released there.
I may be wrong (hope someone can correct me) but didn’t people that pre-ordered Metro Exodus on Steam get to play it earlier? The steam charts I posted shows that it reached the highest peak of players before release. Why couldn’t IO do the same…
Personally I blame exclusivity deal for poor advertising campaign on other platforms.
I’m sure any promotions and mentions outside were prohibited by a contract
That’s because no one can sign in, the queue was at 11k players last I checked. Odd that Steam hasn’t counted them though. Where were these 60 000 people from earlier in the day if not regular Steam H3 or Demo Steam H3?
UPDATE:
Ooh it’s down to almost 5000!
I’d say the blame is entirely on the ridiculous pricing. There’s been dozens upon dozens of games having fantastic launches on Steam after ending Epic exclusivity.
Like i said, it was not a real working queue. Every time you clicked “retry” you actually got a new position in the queue , but the old one was kept in the numbers. It has finally been somewhat fixed but the numbers didn’t mean there were actually 60k people waiting at that time.
Not to mention the queue is probably shared between free starter packages among all platforms.
I’ve only heard of this queue on Steam. I don’t see why there would be an influx of FSP players on Xbox today considering for them it’s been around for a year, and Gamepass offers the actual game not the FSP
