HITMAN 3 - Modding Thread

REi Ambrose Island is out. Despite it’s much smaller scale it was still fun to do. For Mendoza Reimagined, I’d still like to make a few little adjustments, so that release will still take a couple of days.

Mod Request. Recolor and/or reskin the (Red) Viper 300 sniper rifle to more closely resemble the colors/pattern of the 7DS Red (Lust) Suit.

Mendoza Reimagined and Dartmoor plus Dartmoor Garden Show Reimagined will follow later today.

I have an issue with Abrose Island. When I try to launch it, it crashes. I have everything installed as is required, but it just doesn’t launch. Not sure if it is because of other mods or something else. I didn’t have this problem with other REi.

Have you got the newest version of REi Depends? Marking the release of Mendoza and Dartmoor it’s 1.2

I did it, and it unfortunately still crashes.

In this case it probably has to with other mods. May I what other mods you’ve installed that could be causing issues with this?

  • Community Patches
  • Accent Overhaul
  • Freelancer Variations
  • Elusive Voices
  • Misc. Outfit Mesh and Texture Fixes
  • No Poison Smoke
  • Readable UI
  • No Bullet Expolsions
  • Simple Key Event Helper
  • Heritage UI
  • The Great Big Localisation Revamp
  • Chongqing Noodle Massacre
  • Pure Instinct
  • The Brothers
  • Coin Completion
  • REi Depend Package
  • then follow various REi’s

I honestly have none of this mods installed, so I can’t say for certain, but from the name none of this sound like they do anything to Ambrose. Do all other locations work for you? (Meaning Berlin, Chongqing, Mendoza and Dartmoor)

I’m also getting crashes on Ambrose, unfortunately. The mods I have in common with BradleyPaine are:

  • Community Patches
  • Elusive Voices
  • Readable UI
  • REi Depend Package
  • REi (all of them)

It does also crash if Ambrose & the Depend Package are the only REi mods installed. The others all work, it’s just Ambrose that has problems for me.

Thanks. I’m gonna look into somehow reproducing it.

Sir, please help me!!! how to make own mods in Hitman 3 like “ElectricSuit”, “ExplosiveAmmo”, “FireSuit”…

And sir how to find it like “path”: “/entities/abcd868167428d0d” in hitman 3 game…

Hey everyone,

I’m new here, so forgive me if this post is a bit of a mouthful—I got a little carried away! I recently saw a contract that seemed like it had been modded, but I believe it was created within the game’s normal limitations. It had custom NPC names, modified objectives, a restricted loadout, and a unique storyline. I’d love to do something similar, but I’m not sure where to start. Expand the customization options for contracts. Like more flexibility in defining the eliminations and objectives within contracts. Specific weapons and elimination methods.

For example, I recently made a contract in Colorado where the target was a famous rapper (an NPC that happened to resemble one), and I wanted the mission to include a task where you hack into a computer to steal his unreleased music. Currently, the only interaction with the computer is through blending in, but with a mod, it would be fantastic to convert that into a full hacking objective with custom text explaining the context in the objective menu.

Would be cool if possible to create contracts that use map-specific items for kills, like the wood chipper in Miami or the poisoned house in Whittleton Creek. Like any map with a ventilation system. Including objectives like pacifying NPCs, retrieving certain items with a custom backstory (e.g., hacking a laptop to steal secret files).

I’ve also seen some creative contracts—like a “White Rabbit” mission in Berlin where custom NPCs were placed around the map—and I’m wondering how I could replicate something like that. Also, I’m curious if there’s any way to integrate elusive target features, like making a target invisible on the map, into contracts.

Anyway, if anyone can show me how to pull this off or if there’s a mod that helps, I’d really appreciate it! My bad for the long post—I’ll try to keep it shorter next time (no promises!).

Apricate it!

Basically everything you’re describing should be possible - the modding discord is the best place to ask about this, link is available in the footer of https://glaciermodding.org/

Hey!

Thanks for the response! I really appreciate you taking the time to point me in the right direction. But man, it kind of feels like when you go to the doctor, only to be sent to another doctor, then to a specialist, and then to another! :joy:

That said, I don’t mind putting in the work—just looks like I’ve got some serious reading ahead of me! I’ll definitely check out the modding Discord and dive in. Thanks again for the help! Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

@WINNODD 's new mod allows you take pretty much any (male) outfit in the game…
The outfits appear to even be recognised by in-game contract creation and HCCE (sort of, not right for every disguise)
I am not recommending making impossible/mod-dependent contracts, just though it was interesting/something to be aware of!

Congrats for getting that working. I was able to read through all the struggles you went through briefly while in the modding forum. Awesome stuff!
