Have you tried to reinstall GeForce Experience and a driver?
Sometimes it helps.
Uninstall both, reboot your PC, install both again and while installation tick an option of Clean Install on some stage of installation process, after installation is done reboot your PC again and try Ansel once more

isn’t there another method? my father who is the actual owner of the pc would like to avoid uninstalling the drivers for any subsequent problems
The program and the driver could be corrupted sometimes.
Best way to cure it is to reinstall.
As I said, once you uninstall those, you will install them back, so no harm done

Looks like patch 3.30 breaks the CE script. Ansel is still unlockable but no collision and pause/unpause don’t work anymore.

There was an unfortunate event in Bangkok today. Popular and renowned kitchen chef, one Tharn Srisai took his own life during his work break. He was found dead by kitchen staff in restaurant’s freezer room.
Investigation is in process. Chef Srisai commited suicide using a pistol.
Police says that probably he was psychically broken and strongly commited to make this deed happen. That’s what 2 fatal wounds in a head points out.
