Briefings should indicate the required exit unless it’s a puzzle contract from a solid creator like yourself. I play so many random contracts with req. exits and the default briefing.
For all others, the issue Cybrax found causes this message in the editor:
Unknown error at publishing the contract, check the logs.
With an error log like this:
[some long data text, scroll down until you get past two line breaks]
System.IO.InvalidDataException: The magic number in GZip header is not correct. Make sure you are passing in a GZip stream.
[…]
That issue will be solved for v1.2
If someone has another issue, please read the highlighted post above and contact me. I got no feedback so far so I assume this is the only issue and actually only very few people are affected by it.
For every user of my tool I would like to answer this poll:
What issues with my editor do you have since the backend work from IOI?
I don’t use the contract tool
I have no issue, the editor works as usual
I have the issue as above in this post
I don’t understand how to find out if the above is the issue I have
Thanks! Other small question, can I (a PC player without a console) recreate a contract for console? If so, how, and if I can’t, could someone recreate one for me?
I would suggest to try and limit the number of targets.
If things start disappearing it’s a sign the game is not meant to handle this many and you should stop there.
I think you should stop at the targets + objectives (all 9) still fully visible on screen (in game on the left).
Reason why I am saying this is not to be a buzzkill because it’s really cool and stuff! But the people who have access to it are of wide variety some good some bad hardware.
People who might think their game is broken and will complain to IoI.
Also don’t wanna piss of IoI I REALLY wanna keep making use of this tool it’s been my dream to be able to set suits or weapons or have that 6th target! and I don’t want them to take it away!
thread lightly, I guess maybe a response from @Clemens_IOI about their stance on this?
No, you need a valid OAuth token to create on console, and you get that by logging into a console account which is owning H3 + the map the contract is on.
Hey can someone on PS and/or Xbox recreate this contract? here’s a link to the json contents (I’d like to have all three IDs before posting the contract)
It’s on Isle of Sgàil
Cheers ^^
