I guess these stories are released one by one to drum up interest in the book. Just a few days ago there was one of him supposedly asking the British military if it was possible to raid a Dutch warehouse for their Covid vaccine

Peters has shown no remorse and has continued to make appearances with malignant election denier Mike Lindell, so the judge sent her straight to jail, where she–and many others–belong.
“Your lies are well documented, and these convictions are serious,” District Judge Matthews Barrett said. “I’m convinced you would do it all over again if you could. You’re as defiant as a defendant as this Court has never seen.”
“There are many things in my mind that are crystal clear about this case, you are no hero,” Barrett added. “You abused your position, and you’re a charlatan who used and is still using your prior position in office to peddle a snake oil that’s been proven to be junk, time and time again.”
Barrett called the damage done by Peters to undermine the integrity of elections “immeasurable.”

Basically, only 28% agree with “Do you think the country is on the right track?” and historically, that sucks for the incumbent.
That said, Kamala Harris is in a pretty unique situation. She’s basically Biden, she can claim his achievements and policies as her own, but she’s a new improved version of him. A younger, more charismatic if less battle-tested version. She has her flaws, but voters may flock to her simply because she’s younger than Trump and Biden.
Historically, the only other President to serve non-consecutive terms was Grover Cleveland, so odds are against Trump. Obviously Obama was our only non-white President and we never had a female President before, but four sitting vice presidents were elected directly after a full term: Adams, Jefferson, Van Buren and H.W. Bush. Granted, Humphrey lost to Nixon after LBJ declined to run for a second term as Biden declined this year.
The biggest albatross on Harris’s neck is the Israel-Palestine bullshit. It’s a balancing act between protecting Israel and not pissing off Muslims, Arab-Americans, the youth and progressives. Netanyahu’s already making heart eyes at Trump cause he lets Israel get away with murder.
If I were Harris, I’ll go to synagogues and mosques and meet with moderate religious leaders to soothe tensions and assure the American people we’re all one big family, and we shouldn’t let this war tear us apart in the States.
Speaking of which, Harris is in Michigan now.

- Was a racist, disrespectful, inexperienced moron through the 2016 election and still won against his far more capable and intelligent opponent.
- Cultivated a cult who worship him like a God and never abandon him no matter how much he lies or what disgusting or idiotic shit he says.
- Acquitted by the Senate through two impeachments even after he sent a mob to the Capitol Building.
- Didn’t go to jail or die before 2024 and welcomed back to the GOP despite not as much as denouncing the Capitol riot.
- Turned his head just in time for a bullet miss the 4chan forum in place of where his brain should be.

To be fair, from all the AI bullshit out there, matching patterns in the growing amount of data, like sky-surveys done by telescopes or the distribution and properties of plasma in a fusion chamber, they fit there very nicely.
EDIT: But it is true that this does not fit the physics nobel price really as this is more about statistics/mathematics.

And the Nobel Prize in Chemistry has been awarded to David Baker from the University of Washington for building entirely new kinds of proteins and Demis Hassabis and John M. Jumper from Google DeepMind in London for developing an AI model to predict the complex structures of proteins (one of the legitimately cool and useful uses of AI).
