I meant in comparison. It’s essentially the same story, but Busey’s situation is like a low-fat version of McGregor’s.

Well, Gary’s a little grabby himself.

That is nothing new, Busey also laid hands on women working behind the scenes of Celebrity Apprentice. Because it still leads back to Trump in the end.

When did Trump become the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon for rich sex predators?

Given he is on the flight logs I can imagine this is the easiest game in existence

I know, but like I said, it just doesn’t seem to be as controversial as McGregor’s issues. Busey was at least charged, he’s got something wrong with him to some degree mentality, which could be a potential mitigating factor, and he only endorsed the orange nut job, and he’s never been a huge star, and his moment had passed. McGregor evaded being charged if I read right, is stating now that he’s running for office, and is a much more influential figure in his corner of the entertainment world. While nothing Busey did is excusable and it’s not a competition, it’s a speed bump by comparison, at least from where I’m sitting.

I googled “Donald Trump” and this was one of only three stories covering this absolutely insane threat he made (and one was by CTV, not even an American media group!)

Why does the media give him a free pass to say this shit? Remember when “Is Kamala Harris black or Indian” was dominating the headlines instead of Trump’s Project 2025 vision or JD Vance’s insane comments about women?

Sorry for the rant but it’s exhausting seeing him get treated with kid gloves

Because all corporate media is owned by conservatives.

Well, I’m watching this presidential debate, here in this ludicrous bullshit timeline we live in… I’m kind of too god damned tired of this malarkey to give an initial analysis. SIGH

Democracy good, fascism bad.

Harris campaign definitely likes what they are seeing tonight. Almost immediately after the debate ended they called for another one in October. Currently ActBlue (Democratic fundraising website) has been receiving on average $2m every 10 minutes. There were also a few snap polls showing people overwhelmingly believe Harris won the debate. While I don’t doubt that will be the majority opinion snap polls aren’t as scientific or accurate as regular polls so I won’t be sharing those.

Yeah, chance of a lifetime to be forever associated with the lesser version of a beloved franchise that has lost almost all good will for future projects over the last five years. Sign up to ruin your careers before they begin.

In this Wikipedia page of notable British child actors, the only one under 11 is Dexter Sol Ansell at age 9. His biggest credit so far is playing young Coriolanus Snow in the Hunger Games prequel. Dex is going to be busy playing Egg in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, so I guess he’s out. Looks like we’ll really see new faces.

Rowling pretty much burned bridges with the OG Golden Trio so unless she dies this year, Radcliffe, Grint and Watson are probably not going to pop by for a cameo.

Even if this series is cancelled before Chamber of Secrets, it’ll still make the stars world famous, especially if they pull off a good performance despite the script.

I doubt it’ll make them world famous for anything other than being the unfortunate souls that Warner Bros. had the temerity to hire as the replacements of the last people who did it. Unlike other too-soon reboots like you get with Batman and Spider-Man, I don’t see this one going well.

Technically, this is one’s on Rowling since she’s serving as EP. Granted, her name doesn’t inspire much confidence at this point.

Sorry but this was too funny not to share. Taking place in a Pennsylvania fire station. For whatever reason I can’t post the links but can confirm it’s real.
