Suicide squad has a offline mode now
There’s an event in Minecraft starting today for more free stuff and I think I forgot to mention it when I posted about the twitch drops but there’s also a TikTok viewership reward that started at the same time as them
The offline mode being added for Suicide Squad “allows access to the main story campaign and all post-launch seasonal gameplay content without an internet connection”. It allows people to either transfer their online progress into an offline profile with its own separate progress or to start over from the beginning with a totally offline profile that needs 0 connection to the game servers. The only thing you aren’t able to access with it is the in-game store (so the paid skins, emotes, Battle Passes, etc.). However, cosmetics you did buy are still accessible in the offline profile (though this does need a one-time online connection).
Now, the thesis of my comment is this: If Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League, widely regarded as a dismal failure that will never become profitable is able to get an offline mode which gives access to everything the game has to offer besides cosmetics (which aren’t important at all in the grand scheme of things), what the heck is IO’s excuse for their massively successful Hitman WoA to have such a gimped offline mode?
They don’t give a fuck because their fanbase forgives everything.
Because people actually played Hitman enough to justify never having to worry about it and WB can’t get people to play Suicide Squad even they fucking paid them to?
Dude, wtf? I thought Cy2077 was done with adding stuff? I thought RED said that 2.1 was the last “content update” and they’d still release bug fixes but that’s it.

Finally with 2.0+ and the PL DLC. Last play I did it was on 1.63.
Apparently they jettisoned the entirety of the random loot for a tiered but hard numbered universal items design. Always disliked randomness and “you change your equipment every level or you have a bad time” system, in all games with it. So I’m happy 
Plus all the QoL and extras. It’s an overhaul overhaul, I heard.
I will have fun in my holidays.

The Talos Principle is getting (more than) remastered in Unreal 5.
It will include Road to Gehenna, a new opening chapter, extensive developer commentary and (on PC) a level editor.
Really hoping there’s some way to share custom levels with us console scrubs. I would suck at creating levels, but it would be fun to be able to play some of them.

Fortnite Festival is now a year old from December 12th to 15th you can play any jam track for free and there are new bundles for every festival artist except Metallica and snoop dogg
They are rereleasing a few Metallica songs from their music pass as well

The character customizations sound nice too but I am not sure I will use them now that I am so far with the two playthroughs that I grew on how they look.
In sad and/or funny news - depending on who you are - there is a new Dead or Alive game in the works for March next year. No, it is not the next big entry in the main fighting game franchise. Rather, it’s a spin-off to the last volleyball game they made in 2019, but without the volleyball, and is now a full on dating simulator. 6 girls to date, and only 2 of them ever appeared in the actual mainline series. Considering how well veteran fighting game franchises are doing, like Street Fighter and Tekken, shame that DoA is a bit of a joke of a franchise. I’m sure DoA 7 will materialise eventually, but it does rather cement how much the series is just about ogling hot anime women.

I’m still expecting we’ll get a more substantial pack of levels next year, either as Free DLC or a paid expansion essentially. This game was a success, they’ve propelled Astro as the definitive mascot (sorry Sackboy) so they’d really need to cash in on that ASAP…
