Thanks for that. Unfortunately, unless you want to use [REDACTED] project, we won’t be getting Busey anytime soon, and regarding his current status, they might even regret getting him instead of Cole.
What will always stuck with me is first time seeing him in BM06’s playthrough, and him somehow getting SA using AI stupidity and explosive phone. Oh, and also this gem: That was the shittest selfie ever, ever conceived by man. You should be shot just for that action, alone no matter what is it you’ve done in the past that spot on this series of events that’s ended up with 47 at your party
And also, one youtuber doing to this ET because he blew himself with proximity explosive.

GODDAMMIT!!!
The Pharmacist is back again, and again IOI chose to include her in a contract sequence where the complication restricts what I can do with her! This is the same thing they did with the Deceivers; two releases, neither being open enough to allow me to play the mission like I want. And the Pharmacist, unlike the Deceivers, had been missing for four years. And now the Chef is back, and while not poisoning him isn’t that much of a problem, it still limits what I can do with an ET that hasn’t been around in a long time that I’ve been waiting for.
STOP DOING THIS ON FIRST TIME RETURNING ETS!!!

A rare thing : I am first on the leaderboard for all three ETs of the Baneful contract. I will consider this as an indictment of how great I am.
Mostly because it’s currently 1 out of 1 player, but still…
(also just so anyone is aware : the batch is out, but the challenges are still to be activated, it will certainly happen in a few minutes, the batch itself was a bit early)

Well, I finished Epicures, and still didn’t get my pen. Not sure what is the issue.
The challenges have not been activated, only the contracts. So no unlock, and no batch or contract challenge. Yet.
It’s been an hour, and quite a few people have completed them, so I think it’s fair now to tag @Travis_IOI and @Clemens_IOI on the issue.

Worse case scenario IOI concludes the pen simply cannot ever be unlocked and another suit is awarded instead. Might as well be Subject 47.

Honestly the Pharmacist is a terrible ET with basically a single approach so there’s not much you would want to do with her apart from crashing a chandelier in her face, so I see this complication as an improvement personally.

Not the point. There is something very specific that I want to do with this ET, I’ve been waiting years for he to come back, they’ve brought he back twice now, and because of their shitty fucking complications I still can’t do it!

I understand your point, but “lethal poison only” is optional. You can kill the Pharmacist as you wish. Doing it SA will grant a “4 stars SA” because the optional objective is not respected.
But it’s not like the very first version of ETA batches, where complications were mandatory. Not respecting them blocked the ETA for 12 hours. Fortunately, it’s no longer the case.
TBH, I don’t mind about restriction. I consider ETA as a way to play ET missions.

You can do it though? The complication is optional. There’s nothing preventing you from replaying this ETA to try your thing once you’ve SA’d it. Like I sometimes replay old ETAs with explosives or snipers regardless of the objectives just for fun.

Ugh, so none of you know me? If it’s not getting SA 5 stars, it’s not worth doing. In order to get a perfect score, I have to do it a specific way, and not the way I wanted to play it. That’s the point. Why do they put score limiting restrictions on ETs that have been away a long time and aren’t getting very many runs? How they did the Sensation last week? That’s how you do a returning ET, and so more complicated stuff later!

IOI should get rid of the 4 star Silent Assassin ratings completely and retroactively.
To make them more challenging? If all complications in ETA were “only kill targets” it would become boring very fast (and it would probably burn through the ICA’s supply of briefcases and fart bombs very fast too).
