Nice. Did you record the run?
I did not, I planned on failing it.
Chef start, shoot ceiling above target (guard goes upstairs), dropped Goldbrick mine in the restaurant, headshot target from the corner.
Exit stage left
Finally got my revenge on this dude after he punked me in 2016 and caused me one of my only two #TeamNoRestarts ET Fails.
No messing about this time, regaining my Casual Suit With Gloves (which I haven’t got in HITMAN 3 because I moved from H2 PC to H3 Stadia, so couldn’t bring my H2 unlocks with me) was on the line, not to mention my honour. Poisoned his cake and let Wen Ts’ai choke on it: you can stick your critique up your arse, mate.
First time I did this ET. The Twin was another discovery for me. It’s a good thing that IOI recativates some ET from H1. It allows people like me who came late to Hitman 1 to try some time-limited missions.
Tried to find a safe method to kill the food critic SA. I assume, I tried to isolate the target with emetic gas. However, the target was moving to the bread basket
So, I tried a different method.
First I destroyed camera evidence (Thus I didn’t need to care about CCTV). I then removed the bodyguard from the equation by placing a gun in front of him and waited for the waiter to go.
I used of coin to make the target standing up (but the security staff came investigating it). When he went out after seeing nothing, I put a coin in front of the target. His greed made him standing up showing his back. A quick injection of lethal poison et voilà.
I like ET because it’s always fun to get new missions, different from the main ones. New targets, new routes, new opportunity kills.
However, the time-limited content and the “single-play” condition of ET is annoying me. Because instead of exploring the whole mission or eavesdropping converstions (Thanks @Euler13 for his videos about dialogues), we’re just focus on achieving the mission.
I find safe method for SA because any mistakes are lethal once a target is killed. Compared to main mission (where save is an option and absolved for mistakes) where I try different kill conditions or suit only fiber wire only route, I don’t try any such condition for ET. Better safe than sorry.
Hope that one day ET will be released as permanent mission. At that hypothetical time, I would try other methods to kill ET
Diana: “he has some extra security with him.”
Me in 2016: “okay so I gotta lure them away somehow, this will be tricky.”
Me in 2021:
47’s hospitality is truly something to look up to…
Then look down… probably at a toilet bowl…
Once again totally uninspired so I killed this goon with a machine gun. Dipped him into the bathtub in 47s suite.
Some random man dropped dozens of fire extinguishers and propane tanks infront of the VIP, then it blew up… It was probably an accident.
Back to my SaSo injected poison where they stand runs.
This time with the use of the fire alarm. 0:51
I shot a couple of cieling shots to 1st get one of the guards to go up (KO’d and stashed him), then the 2nd one got the target up. I had the fart briefcase in my suite, then zapped him in the bathroom. SA
I had various ideas. One involved sniping him from across the lobby or sniping a PT on his table… But why not use an electric device? Or just shooting him in the head point-blank while he was in his seat (his main bodyguard would be busy). But I didn’t know if he’d slump over and fall to the floor (losing SA), or just “sit” there dead and not be seen (SA).
Just realized that you can complete certain ETs in VR!! (The only other one I attempted was Mr Giggles who was unavailable in VR).
This’ll be my first !
Not much to this one. It’s been almost 5 years since the last time, I just blew him up with a fire extinguisher back then. Obviously that doesn’t work anymore, I just did a classic fiber wire kill.
Well, it works, just fire extinguisher is replaced with propane flask
Yeah, Ken Morgan goes to the bread basket if you emetic poison any of the food dishes he samples from.
Does that count as your official attempt, or is the ET using a different “mode” as the main game?
That’s surprising and… I guess intentional by IOI, somewhat? I don’t remember any VR talk about ETs being allowed and playable, just access to all the main missions. (By the way, does that cover things like Patient Zero and H2 Special Assignments?)
I heard it was possible to smother him in the cake in the kitchen. Is that true?
In the kitchen? Not sure but possible in the same cake you can smother Jordan in.
